I had moderate tearing and a midline episiotomy. My son was born twelve weeks ago, and Monday my Ob cut out this granulation tissue and re-stitched me. It's like healing all over again. Anyone experience this, and what did the Dr. say caused it etc. Any info helpful!

If you tell my husband I'm asking, don't worry, he'll kill me before I can seek revenge!!! He had the snip-snip, the big V, surgery over a year ago. He has not gone back to be tested to make sure the surgery worked. I got pregnant EXTREMELY easily with our three children so we're almost certain that we're okay. However, I've heard too many stories of couples conceiving when they thought there was no chance and I can't get it out of my mind. He hasn't refused to go, just doesn't want to (who would??) What should we do?

I'm due tomorrow and I was talking to my doctor about birth control for after I give birth. My doctor said that I'm probably not a candidate to get an IUD, because they are only for women who don't plan on having anymore children. She said there is a risk of infection and that it could cause me to not have kids ever again!

Have you ever heard this? When I first got pregnant she told me it was a good choice for after I have the baby, but now she told me the opposite!

Has anyone had an IUD, and what was your experience with it?

Thank you!

When you FINALLY get a night off after your baby is born, do you go crazy? I swear, the first time my baby was at her grandma's house for the night, even though I called about a million times to see if she was okay, I "funned" myself to death. Like right now...my husband went with my inlaws to take my 3 mo. old to get pics with Santa and I'm surfing the net, drawing a bath for myself, and drinking a glass of wine (to be followed by another, I promise). Mommy's having FUN!!

So what did YOU do when you're baby is out? I'd love to hear your stories.

By carpet cleaning i mean a commercial carpet cleaning service ,the ones which appear on TV ,like Stanley Steemer.Or should the pregnant woman keep off the chemical cleaning fumes totally. The house has a mice :(
Or what else would you recommend to "cleanse" the house.

Okay, you guys are going to think I'm nuts, but I just had a baby 3.5 months ago (who is an absolute JOY) and my husband and I are seriously thinking about trying for another one very soon (like now). We have a lot of love to give and we love the HECK out of our little punkin. My only real fear is whether or not I can handle a toddler and a baby at the same time. It seems totally do-able since I'm a stay-at-home-mom with an in-home business, but I'm still nervous about it. Also, I'm a little worried that they will be too close in age. What would YOU do if you were in my position?

You check your pockets and pull out a binki

You have a poptart in your purse because you know the second you get to the mall your five year old is going to say "im hungry"

YOu have everything under the sun in the diaper bag...

(Give me some things for all ages all the way up to grown up children )

Hello-first of all im 27 weeks and i appreciate you taking the time to help :) I think most of it has to be my pregnancy hormones but the other half my personality...i have that once you do something horrible to me or if you cant stop being a drama queen i wont have anything to do with you. My In laws are the problem here...they said some really HORRIBLE stuff about me that wasnt even true...they apologized to me after my hubby yelled at them but they never went back to any of the ppl they said the nasty things about me to and told them it was a lie...They got mad when i said only my husband would be in the delivery room and that no his Mother could not be in there with me...I already dont want them to have anything to do with me, and definatly dont want them holding our baby...BUT i understand they are his family....any ideas on what could help in this situation? I have to live with these ppl the rest of my life and all it dose is stress me out to be around them...HELP!! Thanks!

I am 27 years old with a 5 year old son. He was a planned pregnancy. Anyhow i cannot make up my mind if i want to have another kid or not. I have not been on birth control in atleast 6-7 years and yes i have been pregnant since my son but i miscarried it at 5 weeks.
Sometimes i feel like i am just not meant to have anymore because why haven't i had another baby in this many years when my husband and i just use the "Pull & Pray method"?

Do you really believe it is really needed to have another kid? Will my son be missing out on a sibling?
Do any of you believe that you are meant to just have one kid? Wonder how i can make up my mind as to if i want another one or not cause if i did have another baby i would like to be i turn 30 and that will be in 3 years.
Thanks

XL Baby Bjorn??
I am curious if anyone has used the XL Bjorn and what size you were and how well it worked for your size. My husband is a bigger guy, also my mother (who does her day care in our home) is larger and I was thinking of buying this for them so they had a carrier to use also.

Thanks for any help!!

For over 3 years, my fiance and I have been using the "pull out method" and I've never gotten pregnant. Could this mean there is something wrong with one of us?

Starting in January I will be working from home. I am happy because I can be with my son more. However, I want to be at home with him actively (playing, interacting, teaching), yet still be able to make phone calls and get my work done. Any suggestions or sample schedules??? Also, are there any games or activities that you suggest.

FYI my son is 20 months and very active, yet loves to play and explore by himself.

Thanks so much

Madonna, Brad and Angolina, and now the Governor of Utah. Why? or how is it difficult to adapt American babies (no matter what race)?
Is it a status, like having an exotic baby compared to having a fancy import vehicle?

With all of the sad cases of child abuse that have been documented, I think that people should be forced to undergo some sort of licensing/certification in order to become parents.

I really want to be pregnant, but I am so torn. My husband is currently deployed and will be home in Feburary. I so want to get pregnant when he gets home. The problem is that he will be leaving again in March, for 2 years. I just have an overwhelming desire to have a child with him. What should I do?
