If you tell my husband I'm asking, don't worry, he'll kill me before I can seek revenge!!! He had the snip-snip, the big V, surgery over a year ago. He has not gone back to be tested to make sure the surgery worked. I got pregnant EXTREMELY easily with our three children so we're almost certain that we're okay. However, I've heard too many stories of couples conceiving when they thought there was no chance and I can't get it out of my mind. He hasn't refused to go, just doesn't want to (who would??) What should we do?

All he has to do is "give a sample" to the doc. My hubby didn't even need an appointment.....he just delivered his little container to the doc's office. What's the big deal? Make him go do it.
There is a possibility that it can grow back together after the surgery.....that's the most important reason for him to get checked.....to make sure that didn't happen! (And if it's been a year, it would have certainly have happened already if it was gonna reattach itself.)

maybe ask him if he would go just so you wouldnt have to worry? there is little to no chance but it would be nice to set your mind at ease. but if its been a year and nothing im sure everything is fine... if something was going to happen it would have by now... the more time that goes by the less chance there is... good luck :)

Use protection?
Just make him go back, otherwise you both will be too worried about pregnancy to enjoy what you are doing.

Tell your husband to go and check with the doctor. You never know what's going to happen unless you go and check.
