You know, if I were to ask this question right now....I would've probably gotten alot of nasty answers saying I'm judgemental and gotten alot of thumbs down for it.

your degree will be a waste anyway because I don't understand anything you just said. Plus, I don't BRAG about any of my degrees. Why would i?

I'm 22, and yes I'm in the same boat as you (as in getting my Associate's next semester!) Why do you people feel negatively towards my questions by either calling the question of the link I provided stupid or mine. Plus, who are you calling stupid? Geez, have a heart people!

What I'm saying if it's a double standard is for me....whenever I communicate with people, they always tear me down. For all you know, the woman asking that question could've assumed that people who had kids unders 18 years of age, weren't capable of getting their college degree early or in the traditional way.

Looks like a reasonable question to me. What's the double standard and why would you have gotten nasties about it?

Update:
Forgive me for still being a little confused on this. From reading your additional info, it's not the question that's a double-standard, it's the asker. You think the quesitons you ask are received with skeptism and malice, while other people receive legitimate answers. Is that correct?

If so, then I can assure you that jerks are jerks, and they're going to give nasty answers, no matter who asks the question.

Secondly, perhaps you did not objectively phrase the questions you received nasties on. A lot of people are quick to be mean and rude if they're offended, or feel accused by, the question.

Finally, forgettaboutit! Who cares what some jerks say or do on a mass internet forum like this? It's not like anyone's going to die because you got thumbs down on your question, and someone calling you stupid or whatever doesn't make it so.

I think its an interesting question that sheds a lot of light on current situations.

I know a woman who had 2 kids by 18 and graduates with a 4 year degree in 18 months, she's 24.

I dont see it as a double standard, it just depends on the air of yahoo the day or moment you ask.

If theres been a lot of mean questions about young moms that particular day, or you word your question wrong, then yeah, people will tear you a new bum hole.

but asking a genuine question like that is actually quite interesting and educational.

No its not. Sounds like the asker was looking for people with experience maybe so she could help someone she knew that was young and pregnant to become successful.

I don't understand, you're just saying that that question would have gotten a lot of negative responses if YOU were the one who posed it?
