I am 20 weeks pregnant and went through a phase of eating boiled egg and jam sandwiches, my husband said it was such a weird craving, however I used to eat this as a kid, so for me not so wierd. Just wanted to know if anyone had weird cravings

i used to warm syrup in the microwave and dip my chips in it,i loved it then, couldnt eat it now, with another pregnancy i ate a plateful of chips on there own 6 times a day,and with my latest pregnancy i used to have a boiled egg wrapped in ham.i'm surprised i arent obese now,oh well, what a pregnant woman needs, she's got to have.thats the best thing about it.also with all of them i loved the smell of deep heat or ralgex and used to rub it on my arm at night so that i could smell it when i went to bed, that smell was the best ever,at the time

Banana Pizza. Also with my first it was Pick & mix sweets from Woolworths, specially the rasberry liqurice flavour ones. Trouble is I went from 9 stone to 16.5 stone and am still trying to get back down 16 years later.

My mother used to crave coal while expecting me. She didnt like and couldnt eat liver but craved it while expecting my brother. It is one of his favourite meals, but then virtually everything is his favourite meal.

Broccoli, and gravey on everything!

I heard about a woman who craved the smell of carpets, not to eat them or anything, just to smell them!!! she would drag her husband to the carpet shop so much that the guy who owned it gave her a little book made of carpet samples for her to take home. That is the wierdest one I ever heard of.

My mother craved lemons when she was pregnant with me, and now can't stand them!!

ok with my first i craved raw potatoes! i couldn't help it i'd be peeling the spuds for chips and i had to eat one it rolled from there really, i'd get really agitated tho if i didn't have one i'd carry a spud and a knife everywhere with me (it had to be peeled and washed!) this lasted through the whole preg.
my 2nd preg with twins was ham salad rolls all day every day!
My 4th child was vegetable indian curry i couldn't physically eat meat it'd make me chuck up, even tho my fav food is burger king lol

I was mad on pineapple (which doesn't sound strange at all does it)? This is the strange bit : My midwife told mum's to be to eat pineapple to help bring on labour! I had been eating it early on in my pregnancy and surprise surprise my son was 16 days late and then I had to have a cesarean!!!!

Its when you start craving non edible food that you should worry. Everyone craves something different thats part of being prego.
