When you FINALLY get a night off after your baby is born, do you go crazy? I swear, the first time my baby was at her grandma's house for the night, even though I called about a million times to see if she was okay, I "funned" myself to death. Like right now...my husband went with my inlaws to take my 3 mo. old to get pics with Santa and I'm surfing the net, drawing a bath for myself, and drinking a glass of wine (to be followed by another, I promise). Mommy's having FUN!!
So what did YOU do when you're baby is out? I'd love to hear your stories.

Like you I constantly called and kept tabs on every little movement but mostly I did the little things I did before Ashton was born... watch a little tv (Everybody loves Raymond :) ) take a little mall trip without having to lug around a carseat and diaper bag, take a long bath, give myself a pedicure, and yes even occasionally have a glass of wine... seldom having the time to do these things makes you value the time so much more.. I wouldn't have it any other way ;)

Well tonight Logan is going to be gone and Jaylea is going to stay with a friend of ours so that Mommy and Daddy can go on a REAL DATE~!!
We are going to my favorite restaurant (Texas Roadhouse) and I plan on tossing a few back...that is if my post-baby-alcohol-deprived body can handle it LOL Then we are going to see the new Will Smith movie. I'm sure it sounds like a stupid monotonous date but it's so rare to get out these days I'm UBER excited!!
OH and BTW it's Jaylea's first time being left with a non-family member so I'm sure I'll call about 15 billion times LMAO

I haven't had the opportunity yet!
I get the occassional half hour to myself which I normally spend in the bath, but since my daughter was born, I think that I have been home without her twice, and I think I got the washing up out of the way!

the first time i went out and left my daughter with my partner was when she was 4 months old.
i went out with my best friend and had a right good time. i drank quite a bit and hangover the next day. but i didnt mind as it was the best night ever.
thats the only time i have been out though coz i miss her too much lol.

I have three and have really only spent one night without at least one of them. I unfortunately had way to much fun..... It was the first and last time I ever drank....and I drank myself stupid

i have 6 so when there gone i just sit back and enjoy NOTHING loli take a shower turn up the radio and enjoy myself i'm with you on the wine

I can't wait till that day comes!!! I'm due tomorrow, so it's going to be a while unfortunately...but I can still look forward to it :)
