My husband's mother of his child and her husband are trying to adopt the child. My husband keeps in touch with her by phone and visits every once in a while ( we live in NJ and she in Colorado) and sends her gifts but they led the child to believe that her stepfather is the real father. There will be a trial for this, if my husband shows upa nd is fighting to not give her up for adoption can he lose, I mean doesn't he have to agree to it.
Just a side note, my husband has a clean record and has no problems that they could bring up like alcohol or drug, etc. He has 2 children with me and a mental health professional has even evaluated him and said he was fit (the court required both parents to do an evaluation or parenting class).
The only thing they could use against him is that he hadn't visited in two years, he called and sent gifts but he was financially unable to travel (it costs over $1200 for flight, hotel, car)

I have 2 co-wkrs. one does not want kids the other does and says that the one who doesn't is selfish for not having any. I told the one who doesn't want kids to stick 2 her guns because I was born of a mother who didnt' want kids and it was not fun. I also feel that is something you should want in your heart and soul an be ready for the experience and the responsibility. That if she truly does not want children and has made plans not to have them then that is very mature. I told the woman who can't have children that she is self - centered; telling someone they should have a baby because she can't. She would not be the one raising or caring for it in any way especially financially. I told her that it was very mature of that girl to be placed on bc's so she can't get pregnant and no one should have a baby so someone else can live throught them vicariously. What do you think?

I stopped feeding my 1 year old last week and my breasts feel all hard and lumpy, like they're filled with, well, lumpy stuff. Is this normal?
And when they say 'your milk dries up', do they mean that it literally dries up inside your breast? What happens to it after that?

Someone that answered one of my other questions hinted that this might be true. I didnt know that. She told me I might look for a Pro-life ob/gyn. I didnt know there was a difference. I thought that murdering unborn babies was done by only certain doctors.

A cousin of mine learned she was expecting, and I was just wondering how far along a woman normally is into her pregnancy, before being given a baby shower.

Okay, I would love to hear your stories too, but why does this happen? I am 12 weeks pregnant...anyways, Last night I came home from shopping with my mom, I was perfectly fine, I didn't feel sad or anything, but when I got home, I was putting up some new curtains and I had also bought my husband a new coffee pot, well when he asked me why did I get one that color...I just started bursting out in tears, he was so shocked. I never cry! I couldnt stop myself from crying, and then again I didnt know why I was crying! I cried all night long! so then i took a shower and I was just fine, my brother calls me to ask me to bring over the monopoly game.... i forgot and there I went again... in constant tears! Is it my horomones? and when does it stop? thanks

I've decided that I'm ready to start trying to conceive. But I'm not sure on how to bring this up to my boyfriend, he lost a child several years ago and I think this may be a bit touchy for him. Also he's 38 and I'm worried that he may think he's too old. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Baby Disney- The mom-to-be is a Disney freak.

A Star Is Born- You decorate with stars and moons, blues, silvers, and glitter (for star dust) and you hang stars with different info about the parents and family, and for a gift we were gonna name a star after her baby. But it just doesn't seem babyish enough.

Help? And don't say baby showers are lame, I already know that, but I'm being forced to plan one anyway.
