I have a Graco Comfort Sport and it's pretty nice. However, my son, who is only 16 months old, is already at the top harness slots. If you can afford it, get a Britax Marathon. They have the highest available 5 point harness weight limit. All seats have to meet the same minimum government safety standards though. I will warn you away from the kind that has the overhead shield, as they are associated with head/face and abdominal trauma. Cosco seats aren't very user friendly. The straps tend to twist and adjusting the is a bit of a pain.

Well We are using one right now with our 18 month old and I have no complaints... But if you are looking to save $$ they will grow out of it alot faster and you will have to get a reg 5 point harness car seat. That you could buy from the beginning assuming the baby is big enough!?

Target has a great selection, especially online. They have some that are wonderful and come in tons of different patterns (I've seen cow print, flowers, polka dots). They're adorable and great quality.
