I gave birth to my first child when I was 16 years old. My father made me give her up for adoption. This has really darkened my life but the bright side is me and my daughter communicate through email only with her adoptive parents' permission. (they read all the messages) My daughter is really given those people a hard time she really doesn't understand why she can't see me. We want to see each other really bad but I think we have to wait until she is 18. She is now 13. I was wondering do I have to wait until then ? She lives in Arizona and I live in Texas. Please anyone give me some advice. What can I do to see her ?

I myself am a working mom and I love it...how do other people feel about working mothers? If you are one, how do you handle it all? And stay-at-home moms, what made you decide to be a stay at home mom?

I find it funny that they call it "pro-choice" because it is so hypocritical. Doesn't the child have a "choice" to live? Shouldn't the child be given the chance to decide if he wants to live or die? Pro "choice" to me means you "choose" if you want to have sex or not, you know what can happen when you do, so there's your choice. You aren't ready for kids? DON'T HAVE SEX! I'm sick of people calling it "PRO-CHOICE", because it's NOT!

I read a question about people who answer both prenatal and abortion questions. It seems to annoy quite a few people and I would like to know why? In my opinion this is a question and answers site--if you know the answer, you answer it. Why doesn’t a person have the right to answer both questions if they are knowledgeable about them? Why should people who are pro-choice not have children? I’m just curious.

In no means am I saying the original question asked is wrong, it’s just a question and I’d like further explanation.

Since there are obviously parents on here, I was wondering what the names of your child/ren are. I just love hearing them! My two girls are Hollace Isabelle and Laurel Adeline and my son is named Finlay Alistair.

Hmmm...confusing?
I tested positive for being pregnant and i have been bleeding like i was on my period and my period is due!! The bleeding isn't really heavy!! It's light compared to a period, but it's been 3 days!! I've been to the Doctor and I'm waiting on results!!

I feel tired and nauseated with a headache, but I actually feel great!!

If anyone has been thru this, what was your outcome??

Do you think it's a miscarriage or normal bleeding?

Additional Details

1. did serum test-positive
2. HPT - pos
3. went to dr
4. waiting on his bloodwork to check hcg level
5. it's time for my period and if I wouldn't have took the test earlier, I would have thought it was just my period
6. had cramps like a period
7. feel great today, but bleeding lightly

tested negative 2 wks ago and tested positive wed, thurs, and sat

I have 3 children, 2 girls (18 months, 3 years) and a boy (8 months)...I love being a mom, and suprisingly, 3 kids have been quite simple for me and my husband. We really would like another child. I'm wondering how difficult another child would be with both me and my husband in high-stress careers?

Does it annoy you when you see someone who you have seen give advice about getting an abortion (how to go about getting one) giving someone parental advice?
Just asking.

no it isnt echolalia, or that mental disease that ppl echo what others say. She does it to bother me,and she repeats her questions alot. " mama, what'ya doing?" alll day long! I am stumped. Is it normal for a child who was removed from the home when she was 14 mo. old and just building sentences, not to talk at all,but to babble incoherently? this is what she did for the two years, before we could understand her. Till then, she pointed and tried to make herself understood. We got our kids back, and the only one scarred emotionally, was her,and she is the baby of 3. All involved, lost their jobs,as it was a set-up,and they all were found to be incompetent. My oldest is just really closed to outsiders, and the middle one wasn't scarred at all emotionally. No,there isn't any counselling for us available, and we don't want to talk about it with outsiders. i can in here, cuz ya all don't know me. Is it normal for her to be going thru this all at her age? She isn't speaking clearly for her age.

I got pregnant at 17 by a 25 year old. It was unplanned of course. He lied and said that he was 18 years old. I also think he did it on purpose because like a week o 2 after we did u know what, he was saying stuff like your pregnant. I kept saying no and he was like well you'll see in 9 months. Don't get me wrong I'm don't feel bad because it's kinda my fault too because i could have just kept my legs closed. I believed him when he said that I would get pregnant. I was such a dummy. Please just tell me what you think. Thanks.

Two part question: My theme is polk a dots for the nursery. Everything i've been buying is round like accent pieces and lighting fixtures (and the walls are polka dots). I'd like to buy a round crib...but im not sure if that's an impractical purchase VS. the typical shape crib bed? Also...how long before a baby outgrows a crib. And will a baby outgrow a round crib faster? UMMMM.

I'm a woman in my early 20s, and my husband and I are not sure if we want to have children. We wouldn't want to have kids for at least 5 years anyway, so it's not a matter of just not wanting kids because we are young. What are the pros and cons of having a childfree life in ALL stages of life?
