Yes- many of the children who are up for adoption have been abused and neglected in some way or another. But the question that came to mind when you asked your question was "do you mean a kid in particular that you know of? Or a kid in general from an adoption agency?" Because if it's a kid you know of you would have to have child protective services intervene and come take the child away and then you would have to see if there were friends or family who would take the child rather than have them going into "the system".

Oh yes! These are the most difficult children to place. Most people want infants. An abused child will have unique issues that will need to be dealt with. May God bless you richly.

Yes, but they are harder to place because of the emotional abuse that they have gone through. It will require alot of patience and rehabilitating to you and the child.
