False positives with pregnancy tests are rare and directly related to uncommon medical conditions. If a urine test and a blood test both came back positive then you were pregnant.
If you are now having a negative pregnancy test after bleeding then you have miscarried. A woman will test negative very quickly after a miscarriage. Even if you bloodwork comes back positive, if it was taken after the bleeding, you need to look into having another blood test done and seeing your doctor to make sure that your miscarriage was a complete miscarriage (incomplete miscarrages can cause a uterine infection. Uterine infections are dangerous. It is imperative that you visit a doctor any time you feel you may have miscarried).
Miscarriage is usually a very painful process...but it isn't always painful if it occurs extremely early in the pregnancy. Forty percent of all women will miscarry at some point in their lives and never even know they were pregnant.

If you do have any heavy bloody thick discharge then call your doctor again.
Sometimes in the very early stages of a positive pregnancy there are still some remaining blood left from previous period, brownish in colour. The last thing you want to do right now is worry. Being pregnant is a anxious time so try not worry too much, it's not doing any good to you.
It is good that you have already gone to the doctor to get yourself professionally checked.
Try to relax and do other things to keep your mind off. Do relaxing things, watch comedy, read happy books.

a miscarriage is possible. Most miscarriages happen before a women even knows they were pregnant. But I would wait on that blood test. If it says positive then have them get your hcg levels.(another blood test) then have them watch that. If the levels go up then everything is fine. If levels go down then you might miscarry. Good luck and hope everything is fine.

Possibly, but you never know for sure. There is never any certainty with pregnancy b/c my mom had the same problem as you did when she was pregnant with my little sister, but she didn't miscarry. Best wishes to you.
