It was 3 years ago when my friend found out she was 4 mos preg with a guy.. in a one night stand.
it was so stupid and careless of her and to only find out she was pregnant after 4 mos! she wanted to abort her baby but it was too late. she had no choice but to carry on.
During her 4 mos pregnancy, she smoke and went drinking almost every night. she lived the life like a normal girl. after she knew she was preg, she wasn't happy. she did not enjoy it.

After 7 mos of pregnancy, her baby boy was born premature. he has down's syn. she told me when she saw her baby that moment, she hoped he died.

Her baby survived and now he's already 3 years old but is both physically and mentally ill. his name is matt.
Months after matt was born, my friend finally loved him. she became a full time mom taking fully care of matt. As matt is down's, he can't eat, drink, sleep like other normal kids.

These 3 yrs hv been tough for her. i knw some of u may think she deserves it. she regrets now..

My husband and I are 18. He is in a mechanic in the Army and I am a CNA. We are financially comfortable. We have had full costudy of my 16 year old sis for a year now. We also have a daughter together, which we planned. She is 6 months old. We have had a very stable relationship for four years. Do you think that it is too soon to plan for another child? Neither of us ever had any family and we want to create our own.

They just keep telling me I ruined my life, that i can say goodbye to school and college. That its the worse thing i could of done. That Im on my own, they aren't gonna help at all. I now its just the initial shock of it, but when will it stop? (and my boyfriend is staying with me and doing whatever he can to help)

I had a baby in November 2005 and have breastfed her so far and will continue to do so until at least a year (and likely there after). I have not gotten my period back as of yet (yay) and my husband will be returning from overseas soon and I need to figure out some form of birth control. I'd like to use natural family planning, but I need something that is effective...since I haven't gotten my period back, I don't know my cycle. While browsing online, I found this website: http://familydoctor.org/126.xml which says that a doctor can give special instructions on using NFP for breastfeeding mothers...has anyone gotten that instruction? Does anyone have any thoughts about NFP effectiveness for me?

would like to know what adoptees really think and feel. Adoptive (or potential)adoptive couples feelings. Threat? hurt? anything from real life experience would be nice. I'm trying to put things in their place. I placed ababy 14 years ago, and STILL hurt.

I know this may sound stupid but I've always wondered if two identical twin brothers married two identical twin sisters would both the couple's kids come out looking the same?

Yes, I've asked many questions lately. I'm doing research and many of my books are outdated (one is a physiology book from 1980), so I'm trying to make sure all my information is up to date.

Has anyone had their "water" break before term? I know that at term (in some places, 36 weeks) they'll want the baby born within 24 hours if possible. What's the procedure if your water breaks before that time? One thing I read said that they'll insert a catheter and try to keep fluid in the sac for as long as possible, and give the mother a steroid shot to mature the baby's lungs just in case. Another said she got the shot, they gave it enough time to act and hopefully mature the lungs, then allowed her to progress with labor since the longer the sac is broken, the higher the chances of infection. Is there a standard procedure for this, or is it different dependant on where you're getting medical care?

I have spoke to many people who have had natural childbirth including myself and you forget the pain you went through. I only remember bits and pieces of having my son.I do remember being in pain but it's real faint. Does anyone have any idea why this is? Do you feel the same way? I was in labor for 17 hours. My son is now 3 1/2 years old and it was shortly after I felt this way.

This is my second baby and I haven been told that after your first child the uterus has to work a lot harder than usual to go back to size. But mine hurts so badly that I cannot even breastfeed her, it starts cramping so badly that I have to stop.I want to breastfeed and my milk is beginning to come in today. When does this pain go away so I can breastfeed my baby and not hurt anymore?

I'm a little curious. I remember reading before that the doctor will use a hook or his/her fingernail to break the sac. But something I read recently said that the sac is extremely difficult to puncture. Will a doctor actually try to just use a fingernail or something or do they always use the hook?

I'm having slight twing like pain in my lower abdomin..feeling like it would be in my ovary..i have never had cramps before like this even if i had them during my period...my period had also been light flow but still pretty red.. last month i thought that i was pregnant(and yes my husband and I are trying to) but my period can and it was only for about a day and a half maybe 2 at the most and usually is 3 full days...i guess my question is has anyone else had this type of pains and ended up pregnant..or if not what did it turn out to be? I know its not a UTI...its doenst hurt when i pee and all i drink is water and fruit juice.

She took a home pregnancy test and a test at the doctors office..both confirming she is indeed pregnant (I am thinking a few weeks or so). Anyhow she had an appt today. The doctor did some sort of vaginal ultra sound...he told her he seen the sac but didn't see a "baby" (fetus)? Why is this and what would cause this?? Or did he possibly overlook something? Also when does the women develop the sac? Thanks for all sincere answers!
