Really untill they are about 7 most children just dont understand the human body. For now just tell him that when mommy and daddy hug they give the angels(or faries) permission to put a new baby in the cabbage patch, then when it is done growing mommy go's to the hospital to pick it up(the cabbage patch is on the roof) lol. I used that one on my cousin. You really cant go wrong with a ltitle white lie.

Not sure how old you are - but telling small children about sex and babies is the parent's responsibility. Tell him, you're glad he asked, but you think he should ask his folks. Then, tell his folks that he's asked you. They might need to research some books on his level to explain in a way that is understandable and non-intrusive or frightening to him. You're a great cousin to ask.

Be honest, but don't be graphic. If you feel like it, go with the standard 'when a mommy and daddy love each other very much, they do a special hug, and that puts a baby in mommy's belly.'
Or something similar. That's how my mom told me.
