Do you mean 160/90 blood pressure? That is alittle too high for her. She may develop preclampsia and is very dangerous for her and the baby. She needs to see her doctor right away.

My blood pressure was 147/80 when i was first pregnant but it went down to 100/70 by the time i was in labor. I had a lot of vitamin C in my diet cause i heard that would help. And i just watched what i ate and drank lots of water. And try not to stress

I delivered 5 weeks early due to high blood pressure. Make sure to tell your doctor if you have any other symptoms such as seeing spots before your eyes or shortness of breath. What was thought to be preeclampsia was incorrect in my case. I had peripartum cardiomyopathy and it can be very serious if not watched carefully.

i had high blood pressure towards the end of my labor i had to get stress tests twice a week ultra sounds once a week then it got so high that my doc induced me while being induced it got even worse when i had contraction my babies heart rate was dropping i ended up getting an emergency c section . so i would definetlly talk with your doctor about this
