I'm having slight twing like pain in my lower abdomin..feeling like it would be in my ovary..i have never had cramps before like this even if i had them during my period...my period had also been light flow but still pretty red.. last month i thought that i was pregnant(and yes my husband and I are trying to) but my period can and it was only for about a day and a half maybe 2 at the most and usually is 3 full days...i guess my question is has anyone else had this type of pains and ended up pregnant..or if not what did it turn out to be? I know its not a UTI...its doenst hurt when i pee and all i drink is water and fruit juice.

Could be anything, but here are my top 3 "guesses:"

1) Constipation/Gas Pains - This shall pass (literally)

2) Appendicitis - Check McBurney's point for tenderness/pain. (appendix rupture is life-threatening)

3) Ectopic Pregnancy - life-ending for the unborn child; possibly life-ending for the mother if not terminated.

GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY!

Depending upon the amount of days - take a pregnancy test. That will eliminate guess one about what's going on. Then, realize that your body might just be adjusting to normal stress, etc. We always get 'caught up' on the number of days we have our period - and when there is a change - but our bodies do change and you might not go three full days. The twinges that you feel might be nothing more than muscle spasms or movement in the lower bowel. When in doubt - see your doctor.

Well honestly all i can tell you is that even if you are pregnant you can still have periods or you might start spotting and if you are having pains like that you don't need to be asking use whats the problem you need to go see the doctor ASAP because you might be pregnant or something else could seriously be wrong

I don't know how old you are but my GF(38) had this same thing. it was chalked up to "Fibroids". I guess over half of all women get them and they are a pain in the butt. She has pain and spot bleeds on occasion if I try and poke her tonsils out, and sometimes just by themselves. They can be very uncomfortable and i'll be writing a new book called "Fibroids: The New Headache, a quick guide to jerking off"

They gave her a DEPO shot to clear it out, but it has just made her want to fight the police. I would talk to the pro, the Doc can tell you what might be going on instead of us Yahoo interns...

Good luck with that, it may be nothing at all, but do what your body tells you...

You should probably consult your physician. You could have a tubal pregnancy (which starts out with a little discomfort then gets worse and has to be handled medically). Alternatively you could just be having normal ovulation cramping. Have you done any epts? Bloodwork? While this space is great for fast insights, nothing beats going to a real doctor and getting solid information, especially if you want to have a healthy baby.

Maybe you should leave this one to a doctor. Tubral pregnancy aren't uncommon and you're better off knowing for sure.

for real. Gas? Irritable Bowel Syndrome? IBS . Check up time if it persists.
