my husband and I are thinking about it mainly because we have two children, and the Mirena iud I have has made me gain stubborn weight over the last 3 years, and thats with diet and exercise. So has anyone else done this and then regretted it?

no I am not a memeber of the wives with knives club! my husband is the one who wants to do it, so I don't have to have the IUD anymore.

I had it done about 3 years ago and I never looked back, I have two boys, one adopted, but even if both of them were lost to me somehow I still would not want another child. I'm done raising kids, my time is for me now.

I am pregnant with my 2nd baby and due to being high risk I have chosen to get my tubes tied when I have my c-section because it is too stressful. I told my husband that down the road if I wanted another child I would rather adopt. I have known guys that had it done and they had no regrets.

would rather have cope with a 'stubborn weight' than with regret.
