that depends. does she cry at all? some babies are just naturally chill, and some are naturally noisy. the amount a child does or does not cry is not indicative of their speech ability. when you do feed her, does she nurse (i assume you're nursing, but the same applies for bottles) well? is she lethargic, or otherwise unresponsive? if you are truly concerned, or if she is lethargic or not eating well, i recommend that you contact your pediatrician. if she seems otherwise healthy, i'd at least go into your daughter's six month check up with the question on your lips. maybe you're just very lucky! ;)

It sounds like you are very anxious about your baby daughter's 'not crying.' Is that new for her? Does she ever cry?
I don't believe there is a relationship between crying and speech. Does she make any other sounds? Does she startle to loud noises?
The best person for giving advice is your baby's pediatrician. He or she will have a good idea about what to check for to make sure all's well.
Good Luck!

How does she react, when she sees food. The spoon, the bottle whatever? Does she make appropriate noises.
Some kids really don't cry that much. Unless my son was sick, he really did not cry a lot. The doctor said he was secure and knew he would be taken care of, as a result he cried very little.
But when he saw what he wanted, he was verbal.

Stop worrying! My little girl was that good too. My boys were cry babies. As far as crying associated with speech. We can't shut my daughter up, and she also talked early.

Just to make sure, take her to the pediatrician. I AM NOT TRYING TO SCARE YOU, but I have three kids and my oldest suddenly did this when he used to cry. He was diagnosed as autistic (he's now 9). I am not saying that this is the case, but you should get it checked out. My prayers are with you!

You should take her to the doctor and ask that very question. If you feel that this is a serious concern for her health, and your sanity than you'd be better off talking to a professional pediatrician.

TAKE HER TO THE DOCTOR! I do not think that is normal at all. My Grandson had to have a procedure at three weeks because of an intestinal problem. Not trying to scare you, but it DEFINATELY requires immediate attention. Better off to over react in this case.

my son never cries unless he has gas thats it he fusses but thats it. Unless he wakes up then he'll cry until I get him. So I would say she is fine. If you that concerned maybe you should just call her doctor just to make sure about the voice and all. Take care!

it depends on if she is a happy baby or not. if she is then she has no reason to cry but yes it also is associated with her ability to talk and commuticate\. you shuold get your daughter to a doctor and check out her voice box for mute and autisim also.
