Okay, how much is normal when it comes to an 8 month old boy grabbing himself during diaper changes? My son starts grabbing and pulling at his privates as soon as I get the diaper off. Sometimes it takes two people to change his diaper (like when he's poopy) because his hands are always in the way. ANd sometimes he pulls so hard on himself I'm afraid he's going to pull it off (not likely, I know, but still...). My other son didn't start doing this till he was like 18 months. Is this normal behavior, or should I mention it to his doctor at the next appointment?

Choose the baby that you believe has the prettiest eyes. Even if it isn't my son Gavin. Go by the eyes not the cuteness! : )

thank you! The baby with the best eyes deserves to win..not the ones with red eye. : (
thanks for voting for the baby with the best eyes! even if it isn't my son! i know it's soo hard to choose, they are all really really cute!

Ive noticed that they are cheaper but what does it mean? Is there anything wrong with them, also any tips on getting a good price on cloth diapers. I need to buy some but don't have too much money to invest right now.

I have a five month old that has started drinking over 8ozs every bottle feeding (I now have to make two bottles:one 8oz and one 4oz) to fill her up. If I don't then she is crying for more in an hour. Her doctor said to try her on baby cerial but she doesn't like any of it! I have been trying all diiferent types for a month now.
We even had her tested for worms! But it came back negitive and she hasn't lost any weight.
Before you ask she is not over weight or anything like that. The doctor says she's a very healthy baby.
I have tried distracting her and playing with her but that doesn't help either...
Any ideas?

I heard that a man's sex drive decreases or disappears for the mother of his child if he watches her give birth. I looked it up online but didn't find much on the topic except that the father is just "scarred for life" by seeing us ripped open and just loses sexual attraction. Have any of you experienced this?

Is there anything in the law about pumping breast milk at work? I plan on pumping when I go to work. I was wondering if my job had to allow me to have my normal 2 breaks, plus 2 other breaks to pump, I work 10 hr days & work in IL?

MY 31/2 month old baby girl seems to have lost her sleep during the daytime, she is either awake babling, crying or just turns to her tummies and yells. It stresses me out so much since i can't do any work nor can i get some rest.it's been like this since she turned to her tummies,i don't know whats happening inside her during these so called developmental milestones..since she doesn't sleep she is very cranky by the evening and very often screams her lungs out...i would just leave her go away to the other room...it's unbearable, i get headaches b'cause of this. Any suggestions?....

ok so yesterday i asked a question about a shooting pain in my breast while feeding and a few people said it sounded like thrush. I had thrush 4 times with my daughter and this feels different to me. My nipples are itchy, but are pretty much the same color as they always are, it does not hurt at all to nurse my son, and i checked his mouth quite a few times and found no signs or symptoms of thrush at all. is there something else that can cause itchy nipples? It actually seems to soothe them when i feed him and i remember when i fed my daughter it didnt feel good at all it hurt. I am still getting a shooting pain every once in a while in my right breast but its not anything that hurts horribly and it isnt happening with every feeding. I have looked on google and came up answerless if this is thrush i want to get it treated as soon as possible to prevent my son from getting it seeing as he doesnt have any symptoms of it for now. any answer you can give me would be greatly appreciated

Not that I would want to, but I know several people who got pregnant very close together. I was just wondering if you got pregnant again and say you had a 2-4 (if waiting the six weeks) month old at pregnancy, would your body stop producing milk and turn to colostrum? I'm just wondering whether your second would get the same benefits as the first child with the colostrum or if it would stay milk. And if not, would you have to take your first child off the breast. I'm just wondering because I know the benefits of breast milk. It was just something that I was wondering because I wasn't sure whether it would hurt either baby. By the time (if you waited four months) you had baby to term, the baby would be about a year so you could wean them, or would you wean them right a way. I was just curious to see. I'm going to wait at least a year because I want my daughter to be weaned before being pregnant. Anyone who can answer would be appreciated. Serious answers please.
