Sure the wipes will give you a "wetness" feeling, it's also sometimes called "clean". Would you rather feel wet for a few seconds and be clean or wipe with something that's dry but leaves a bit of stickiness behind?
Most any brand of baby wipe is fine. Parents Choice from Wal Mart has always been good and the price is great.

the ONLY BABY WIPES i will use is the parents choice! they are the only ones that stay wet! the other ones all go dry and dont wipe good if the baby has a poopy...

My favorite ones are Especially for Baby brand at Babies'R"Us. They are inexpensive and not really wet. They are very good for babies with sensnitive skin. I still use them on my 2 year old.

Buy Parent's Choice at Walmart, cheaper and just as good. You'll go through a pack a week the first couple of months.
