Lie her so she is a bit on the side every night. Just a little bit on her side. You didnt mention how old she is, so this might not be possible.
Some doctors recommend a helmet to help reshape the head.

You don't say how old your baby is, but aside from more tummy time while awake and side sleeping, if she is old enough, try a walker/jumper or bumbo seat instead of always having her lay on a playmat or blanket. Bumbo seats are wonderful and McKenna loves hers. It helps them build the muscles needed for sitting and gives them a new perspective of the world.

lay your baby on it's sides or on the tummy when awake. Don't leave the baby in a carrier or seat for long periods of time cuz that will cause more flattening.

More tummy time is always great. My twins had really flat heads on the side because I used to lay them on the same side of the crib everynite so i could tell them apart....well I had to start switching them around because their heads were SOOO flat! They grow out of it though, dont worry!

Give her more tummy time! Laying on her head too much can make their heads flat like that. Pick her up more or let her play on her tummy.

rotate her so that she sleeps on her sides sometime. It really isn't anything to worry about because once babies become more mobile, they usually round out themselves. Why didn't you ask your doctor this when he told you?
