Choose the baby that you believe has the prettiest eyes. Even if it isn't my son Gavin. Go by the eyes not the cuteness! : )

Quite frankly, I dislike baby and child contests like these. It seems that they are just a bunch of stressful situations on the children. No baby wants to go through those. Why do parents feel that their baby needs to be judged to see if it is cute in the first place? All babies are cute if to no one else, at least to the parents. Do parents need confirmation that their baby is cute or are they trying to prove that their baby is cuter than someone elses baby? All babies are special. All babies are cute. All babies are one of a kind and a gift of life and they don't need the undue stress that a baby contest can put onto them inmy opinion. If a parent believes that their baby needs to win a contest, then they should go to a parent/teacher store and find a blue ribbon and pin it on them and take a home photo for their baby book. It will be cherished by all just as much and without the heartache if the child loses, because someone always has to lose. Then the child can be told that they are always cute and special so they don't need a contest to prove they are. I can't imagine what a 'child star' feels inside of themselves if they aren't picked as the best. I watched a special documentary that came out after Jon Benet' was killed on child beauty contests. It was horrific. Their were kids that threw temper tantrums and parents that got so mad that they couldn't control themselves when their kids lost. But worse than that was the treatment the kids got from their own parents forcing them to get up at all hours of the night, practice until they were dog tired, push themselves to unforseen limits, be forced to get up on the stage and perform when they didn't want to, and get yelled at constantly about not doing it right. To me it is a form of child abuse and I feel sorry for the children. The marks on their emotions will last a lifetime. There was another show I watched as well a few years later and it was interviews from some of the Miss America and Miss Universe winners telling how rough their lives were as kids being carted around to these shows. Most of them agreed that if they hadn't been forced to do it by parents at a young age, they wouldn't have pursued it because the glamor wasn't that great in the long run. Every baby on that page is cute and every baby on that page is a winner. There is no way I could honestly pick one over the other as 'better' than another one. If any of them are told they didn't make it as the cutest baby when they get older or realize it even the age they are in those photos, that will leave a lasting impression and imprint on them that they aren't cute or a winner, in my opinion and that isn't fair to any child. If you start believing you aren't good enough as a child, you will continue to believe it as an adolesent and live it as an adult. Therefore, I pick them all as First Place Winners and they all need a blue ribbon.

If looking at just the eyes, not the cuteness I think Rylie or Lucas. Most have very pretty eyes. Almost all of the babies are cute.
