I have a 4 month old and I refuse to change my daugther in the public washrooms, I just find them to be a big germ magnet. My fiance prefers I use the washrooms to change her instead of out in public in front of everyone, but I don't like the washrooms and I just change her where ever I am. Any opinions on this?

My six month old has two large bumps on each side of the back of his neck. They are hard like bones and can be felt easily by a hand. I have nothing like this on my neck? They are at the bottom of his head/ very top of neck. I do not think they are swollen lymphnodes. They are much harder and larger than that. He has his six month well check on Monday so I will ask the Dr then. Does anyone else's child have these? What do you think?

Just wondering...i am 35 weeks and am having a lot of potential signs of labor. Just wanna know how many of you out there have had their babies around this time and they were healthy with NO NICU stay. My first was in the nicu for a while and I DO NOT wanna go through that again. Also, how much did your babies weigh?

Does anyone have the Super baby food book. I can't find it in stores and have looked online but I wanted to know something from it now. How many ozs of breast milk or formula should a 9 month old be taking once he starts on baby food? Some times he will only drink 2-3 ozs per bottle. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it something I should be concerned with?

My best friend has a 5 wk old baby and she hasn't been able to poop on her own since she was born, anyway she has to give the baby a suppository every time she needs to poop. Well last night the baby was screaming in pain so my best friend took her to the hospital and they did nothing and sent her home. If she can't poop on her own isn't there a problem and why wouldn't the doctor do anything.

He doesn't seem to be in any pain but when he pee's it comes out slightly to the left and not straight down in the toliet. I have heard that this is something that will need surgery and then I've heard that it is nothing to worry about. Please if you have information on a child or adult with this problem let me know what was done if anything.
His doctor said it was okay but people are telling me I should take him to see a different doctor.

He was curcumsized at birth!

I don't know anyone who breastfed, so this is very new to me. I don't want to actually breastfeed, just pump my milk and feed through a bottle. Any advice or info you can give, I would love to hear it. My main questions are: If I pump a couple times every day, will my breasts still leak? Can I use pre-pumped milk at the hospital right after I give birth? I read that Medela is a good pump, is it very noisy/can I use it while I am in the same room with a sleeping baby? Thank you for all the help.

My daughter fights me and cries when I try to give her a bottle of formula, even though I know she is hungry. I tried orajel on her gums thinking that she was having pain while drinking her bottle. That didn't help. I give her mylicon drops thinking it could be gas pains making her feel full. Still, this had no effect. Also, she has acid reflux and is being treated with medication. That sould take care of that. Since she refuses her bottle, I give her rice cereal(fed with a spoon). She loves it. It seems that she only wants to eat solid foods. I know that her formula is supposed to be the main source of nutrition right now, and that she needs to have fluids to prevent dehydration. Any ideas what could be the problem? What should I do?

This may sound ridiculous but I am geniunely concerned that my baby boy will have a small penis. His father is very small. When I was pregnant with my son I was hoping he wouldn't take after his daddy, but when he was born I saw him and he had close to nothing. As a mom I am concerned for his self esteem as well as what other's will think of him.

I would love some suggestions, comments for a baby name.

I like Flynn Emmanual for a boy, does this sound ok together. And I like the following for a girl, but am open to suggestions on either. Zoe, Ella, Jules, Mia, Keelin, Kate, Laura, Talia, Starr, Shahla and Asha.
