You've already got good advice with just putting him on his belly a lot. Even if he fusses, it's good for him. But most of all, don't worry about it. Make sure that you trust your pediatrician, and if he or she isn't worried, then don't you. All kids are different. My first daughter lifted her head at 2 weeks which is very early, and walked at about 13 months ( a bit later than most.) Don't compare to friends kids, averages, or anything else. Just know when it may be a sign of developmental problems and enjoy that baby while he is still immobile and not getting into everything.

All children are different. But i am sure that he will be doing it in no time. My youngest baby was about 2 1/2 months old before she really wanted to start trying to hold her head up.

Yes, there are many differences in children. Both my children held their heads up from day one. They would tip after a minute or two, but to help their necks get stronger I would hold them fairly upright with my head for support if they lolled. I would feel their strength and pull my hand away when they would do it on their own.
