Can we cash it? If so, do we need to bring in documentation showing who he is (we haven't gotten his social security card yet)? Or do we need to setup an account in his name?

Thanks!

Due to complications from a breast reduction, I had to have a nipple surgically reconstructed (simular to what they do for a masectomy). I would love to be able to breast feed for atleast a little while, but because I can only extract milk from one breast, I'm not sure if I will be able to.

I'm losing my mind!

My 10 month old son travelled to India with my husband and I. While we were there at least one person always attended to him. Usually there were three or more. He was not made to sleep, if he cried he was picked up and either played with, fed, or rocked. This went on for a little over two weeks.

We returned this weekend. The time adjust has been hard on all of us. I have returned to our regular routine. However, my son refuses to nap or sleep. Every time I lay him in his crib he screams. I do let him cry it out. But, last night after three hours no one was getting any sleep.

After waking up at one and having a short nap in the car while we went for breakfast he slept in his crib for 30 minutes. He also won't let me out of his sight.

Any ideas on how to get my good baby back?

I'm also nearly four months pregnant and very exhausted...

I've never been told this before, but I can't help but think that it might be loud in there while they have the ultrasound machine on my belly. I always end up feeling guilty afterward!

Everyone says that since she is growing I am making enough, but when my 7 mo old is at daycare she eats 8oz when I only pump 4. I think I should be pumping atleast close to what she eats right? She eats an extra feeding at daycare that during the weekends she doesn't eat. Am I doing this right? What should I do?

My son is 9 mths old and eats a variey of foods. I have always heard to wait to introduce tomatoes. He already eats eggs, and food that we eat, cut up really small. I am going to the pediatrician in 2 days, but just want to see what other's experiences are.

My son has a bit of a cough, it's sounds like there may be some phlem in his throat, and it sounds like his cough is bothering him a little bit, I was wondering if there was any over the counter cough medicine I can give him to calm his cough down? He's 7 months (almost 8) We have a doctors appointment, but it's not for a couple of days and I want to help him out with his cough, just wondering if anyone else has used a cough medicine that helped their baby.
Thanks everyone!

I want to start cereal feedings w/ my 5 month old daughter. Is it better to feed in the mornings or at night and when giving cereal do you give a bottle too? Please help! Maybe if some of you could tell me your schedule w/ the baby. That would help so much. Thank you so much for helping!

My son has had a pretty high fever for the past 2 days. It started at 101 and now is about 103. I have been giving him motrin and have noticed he is passing gas alot (I think it is probably caused from the medicine). His cheeks are really red and I thought at first it was teething but my other two kids never had such a high grade fever when they were teething........ Could it be an ear infection - should I wait another day or take him to his dr today??????

I am not sure if I should take him to a minor emergency clinic or take him to his family dr....?????

My son is 8 days old and his umbilical cord has not fallen off. I was just wondering how long this process can take. Any parents been through this? I think part of the problem might be that his naval sticks out really far and it is covering the some of the umbilical cord therefore the end of it is still slimy looking while the other half has completely dried up. I am cleaning it with every diper change. What should I do? Any other Ideas on how to make it dry out faster?

My brother is getting married at a couples resort in St. Lucia in October and my son will be 16 months. Unfortunately, the only people I would be happy about leaving him with will also be at the wedding. They don't allow kids, so we are thinking about bringing him and staying in a different hotel from everyone else. Is it unreasonable of us to want him to come?

she feeds herself, flips through books, climbs on to everything, says 4 words regularly, claps, raises her hands to the air when you say surprise, is she advanced or are most babies doing this at this age?

I know that he should sleep on his back for the SIDS risk, but he just flips right back over to his tummy. He can definitely hold his head up good now. What do you think?
