Everyone says that since she is growing I am making enough, but when my 7 mo old is at daycare she eats 8oz when I only pump 4. I think I should be pumping atleast close to what she eats right? She eats an extra feeding at daycare that during the weekends she doesn't eat. Am I doing this right? What should I do?

Everyone says that since she is growing I am making enough, but when my 7 mo old is at daycare she eats 8oz when I only pump 4. I think I should be pumping atleast close to what she eats right? She eats an extra feeding (of formula) at daycare that during the weekends she doesn't eat. Is that ok? I've added an extra pumping session, how long does it take for my supply to get bigger?

She eats formula and milk at daycare, should I eliminate formula and try to increase my supply? I've added and extra pumping session during the day, how long will it take before I start getting more milk at my pumping sessions?

is she only drinking breast milk? If you are giving her formula then no you are not making enough milk. If she only breast feeds your milk supply will increase on demand, and you will make enough. Choose between formula or breastfeeding, because if she nurses less often your milk supply will decrease.

Babies are much better at getting milk than even the best pumps. Especially when you are at work and can't really relax. I bet she gets as much milk on the weekends as during the week. Happy babies with lots of wet diapers who are growing, are getting enough milk. Keep up the good work.

if she's growing ok you're doing it right. She probably takes less when she is at home because her mind is less active than when she is in a different enviroment like daycare. Alot of food goes to power her brain remember. Don't stress, you're doing fine.

you make what you use so if shes eating formula thats a breast feeding shes not getting so your breasts are not going to make enough for that feeding
