Newborn & Baby - January 2007

My daughter is 7 months old and she spits up ALOT!!! so her dr. put her down to 4 oz of milk with cereal in every bottle...well she still spit up a lot..so i put her back to 5 oz. This is her 4th formula we have tried on her.. I have asked several times if she had reflux..but i guess she doesn't. Shouldn't she be drinking about 7 or 8 oz by now?? EVERYTIME I eat she is trying to get my FOOD the whole time..its like she is CONSTANTLY hungry!! but she spits up alot. Her papa told me i should try her on regular 2% milk..i know that drs and everyone else says not to..but what if its the only milk she can take.. I don't know if i should try it and i need ADVICE, i am a first time mommy!!!

my husband and i want to go on a vacation in june. we need a family friendly vacation because our daughter will be 10 monthes old by then. we want a vacation that she will enjoy. we want to actually envolve her we dont want to drop her off at some child care place and go off on our way. so do you know of ant good vacations in the US that will be good for adults and a 10 month old baby???????

My seven month old (who obviously can't walk yet), stands on his tip toes. We took him to the doctor, who reassured us that he does not have Cerebral Palsy, and informed us that he most likey has a short Achilles Tendon. We are going to take him to physical therapy. Has anyone else's children had this condition, and if so, any advice? How long does it usually take to be able to stand flat footed? Does it typically delay walking? Did you child completely recover from the tio toe stance?

With the weather being cold I don't like taking my son out in just socks on his feet. He is taking a few steps so I would like to get him shoes for a reasonable price. Problem is I can't get them on his feet. Even the ones that are a size or two bigger. I guess he curls his toes and resists, and no matter how I try to force I can't get them on. Any tips?

My daughter is 3 and she has been taking Triamenic and the pharmicist said that the dosage isnt on the bottle but thta its ok to take and to give her only 1/2 tbs well my husband thought it was something else and didnt ask me the amount to give her first and he said he gave her like half of the little cup that comes with it, which is much more then 1/2 tbs. I'm very worried, but shes already asleep. Should i be worried? Waht should i look for if something can happen?

My son is 6 months old. he has been waking up in the middle of the night for the last couple of months screaming like hes being killed. When i flip the light on, he wakes up, blinks at me and then crys to be picked up. after that he is fine and goes back to sleep. i dont think its gas because he doesnt needgas drop or anything else ike that to make the screaming stop- just turning the light on. i asskd a nurse about it and she sai she had never heard of it, it must be gas,,,,what do u think

I was just wondering my baby is 5 months old and she is about the size of a one year old (20lbs, 281/4inches). Now since she is that big(which the doctor says is fine because she is proportional) shouldn't she be eating the amount of food that a baby that big would eat not the amount of food that a baby her age should eat. I hope you understand my question and thanks in advance.
