My daughter is 3 and she has been taking Triamenic and the pharmicist said that the dosage isnt on the bottle but thta its ok to take and to give her only 1/2 tbs well my husband thought it was something else and didnt ask me the amount to give her first and he said he gave her like half of the little cup that comes with it, which is much more then 1/2 tbs. I'm very worried, but shes already asleep. Should i be worried? Waht should i look for if something can happen?
Please help, i'm very concerend

I would look on the cup, and find out exactly how much she took, then call poision control and tell them the situation. They will tell you if you need to take her to the ER.

Well Triamenic has alcohol in it so she will just have to sleep it off. I am sure she will be fine it was an honest mistake. It's your first child nobody is going to lock you up for it. If you acts a little funny in the morning just keep an eye on her through out the day tomorrow. I hope she doesn't go to daycare. If she does just let your daycare know what happened but becareful on how much you tell her as she is responsible to report you to the state. If your daughter goes to a pediatrician depending on what kind of area you live in I would call your doctor. Most of them have an on call physician. The nurse that answers the phone would be able to answer all your questions.

FROM A MOTHER OF 7 HERE!!! I ALLWAYS GAVE MY KIDS MORE THEN IT CALLED FOR. IM SURE SHE WILL BE JUST FINE. SHE WILL SLEEP REAL GOOD TONIGHT AND MAYBE WAKE UP FEELING A LOT BETTER. i work for a hospital it's actually no big deal she might get a little buzz but probably not even that she's not gonna overdose or nothing just let her sleep it off

Just keep a close eye on her while she is asleep. She should be fine, if anything just give her some warm milk.

Seek help right away. Dont risk it. Call the ER or your family dr. Also, I would try and wake her and see how she responds.
