Is it possible to breast feed after having breast implants? I am naturally blessed but have seen a lot of young women with balloons on their shoulders and wondered how that would work.

A friend of mine has massive fake boobs and she is breastfeeding her daughter. I think it depends on the procedure. Her implants were put behind her own breast tissue.

Oh, and as if they weren't huge enough from the implants, they also grew another cup size when her milk came in. Looks kinda funny to me.

It actually depends... But you don't find out until you have your baby. My sister got a reduction when she was 16. They were just way to large. She just had her little boy and is unable to nurse. I've also known people with fake boobs who have gone both ways. It's almost like not being guaranteed to have nipple feeling after getting a boob job. You don't find out until afterwards!.

It depends on the type of surgery, under or above the muscle, and if the nipple was moved.....

I have breast implants, under the muscle, and breastfeed my 6 week old....

The surgeons put the implant behind the gland and muslces, so they can still breastfeed safely. Kinda wierd though!!

ive heard you can have problems... not too sure bout the details my friend had them and couldnt bf shed get sharp stabbing pains every time she did... stick it out though cos it is whats best for baby but its one of the negatives for getting fboobs..though ohw tempted i am i cannot tell you lol..even after having baby mine r still small :P might have to talk to your doc about it they can prescribe you medication. cos some mothers (me included) cannot naturally produce as much milk as is needed in the first couple of days...good luck

Also depends on how disturbed the all important milk ducts were during the procedure.
