My son is 3 months - 2 weeks old and has been fussy alot these days. When I touch his upper gums he screams. He is 24/7 putting his hands in his month and wakes up with red checks. Could he be teething this early??????

I've read tons of consumer reviews and I'm just curious what all of you think is the best infant car seat out there. Safest, Easiest to manage and easy on the wallet!

My one month old baby has gas and I am using the gas drops but they don't seem to help much since she spits most of it out. Any ideas of anything I can do to help soothe her? She is burping good and the doctor said not to worry and to keep giving her drops.

My one year old hums loudly when he's falling asleep or waking up. He sort of exhales musically, for up to an hour. He has done this just about all of his life. My pediatrician said there's nothing wrong, but didn't say it was normal. Anyone else have a baby that does this?

My son is 5 months old, he can lift his head, and roll from back to stomache. I'm worried about SIDS, since he nestles, or buries his face when he sleeps. I constanly have to roll him back, or turn his head sideways so he can breathe. He has the habit of falling asleep on my chest since he was a newborn since I nurse him to sleep every night before bed. He won't sleep otherwise. I then lay him on his back in his crib when he's REALLY out, and I watch the monitor till he wakes to nurse again. I do this off and on all night. Needless to say I don't sleep much, unless I bring him to sleep next to me in my bed or across my chest where I can watch him more closely. I'm slowly phasing this out. I have a sleep routine down for him, and I know it's a transition but I really could use some more helpful tips.

My son is five months and he sleeps on my chest. When he first came home he slept on his back because he was swaddled. After two weeks he would wrestle out of the swaddle and wake up crying. so I started putting him on his stomach. Now he wont sleep on his back and I know he is suppose to sleep on his back. I'm so afraid of putting him in his crib on his stomach so I started sleeping with him on my chest. I'm ready for him to sleep in his crib, but I'm so afraid to put him on his tummy because of SIDS. Please help me!!!!!!

How am I doing so far?
Do you think I can lose the weight by March 3rd?

I'm 5'2" , 27 years old and I weigh 155, I want to get to 130, before the 3rd of March. My ideal weight according to charts should be between 103 -136.

I just had a baby 5 months, 1 week, and 5 days ago. I was seriously overweight during my pregnancy, I got to 199 lbs.!

I've lost a total of 44 lbs. I lost the first 26 lbs. after 2 weeks: Baby 8 lbs.9 oz., Placenta & Amniotic Fluids, etc. 18 lbs., Bad reaction to pain killers 7 lbs., Breastfeeding, & Working out 11 lbs.

I'm currently 3x a week walking the treadmill with my 5 month old son in a carrier strapped to my chest at [1.5] speed, with a [1.5] incline for 20 minutes in the evening, and then i do crunches 3 reps of 25.

I pretty much eat what i want but i control my portions and call it quits 3 hrs. before bed. I nurse (breastfeed) around the clock.

Do you think I can lose the weight by March 3rd?

My 18 month old son CAN'T have fruit juices something in them gives him diahrea and makes his little butt break out in open sores(ive been told its the acid in them that occurs naturally in the fruit) i've tried watering it down and giving him veggie juice like V8. I've even tried giving him kool-aid(though i dont care for doing it) just to vary from the milk and water but the gives him diahrea also and the dyes in it turn his stools odd colors usually what ever the color kool-aid is. Am i just stuck with regular ole milk and water or can someone suggest something else

I have noticed that there are alot of mom's on here that critisize other moms (or dads) for things. For example I was just reading a question about a mom who lets her child sleep in a swing for naptime and there were countless people that responded to her question with comments like "why would you let your child sleep in a swing, why not just put them down and let them fall asleep on their own in their bed?" Because for some of us it's not that easy, my son also sleeps in his swing because he WILL NOT sleep in his crib at naptime. I don't see the point in leaving him in his crib screaming at the top of his lungs choking himself for a long period of time. I have tried to let him fall asleep on his own but he screams and chokes himself after even 10 minutes so theres no way I would let him do that for hours until he falls asleep when I can pick him up, comfort him and allow him to sleep in his swing.

Okay the thing is I sit beside my son when it is his nap time. I put him in his swing and then I rock him while sitting on the sofa. When he wakes up he looks over at me and just starts whining and looking very sad. Is this a symptom of seperation anxiety? I am a stay at home mom. Can anyone help? Moms only need to answer!!! Please serious answers only!!

My 5 1/2 month old still gets swaddled for naps and at night. She is getting bigger and is moving around a lot more (rolling over). Soon enough she is going to outgrow the swaddleme. Does anyone have any suggestions (that have been successful) on how to get her to sleep without swaddling? The other problem is that even though she can roll over on her own, she doesn't like being on her belly so I don't think she will really like sleeping that way.
