This is what I used. The spout is similar to bottle and no spill. I used these for a while then switched to hard spout.

at the same time as my daughter replaced into transitioning from a bottle to a sippy cup i purchased nuby delicate nipple sippy cups. They were an person-friendly transition and she took good to them. a pair months down the line i have been given her difficult plastic spout sippy cups and threw the nubys away. Now she takes a each and daily sippy cup comfortably.

My daughter will only use Nuby sippy cups. They have a soft nipple like spout and they don't leak.

I used one that is only like ($1.80) It has a soft spout but easy to hold the hard top ones are hard to get used to so I would not try that till they are much more experienced. My daughter loves her and it is spill proof. I got it at walmart!!

there is one called Nuby

it has silicon spout..but looks like a sippy and has the placement of a sip spout. It worked GREAT for my daughter..actually once she had it for one day we never gave her a bottle again. PLUS there is no extra "spill proof" piece..the design of it makes it really spill proofed (to an extent..just like all other others...) its also cheap..like $1.00 - $2.00 per cup!! I got mine at walmart in the baby area...

Lets put it this way.. my son has gone through half a dozen sippy cups and still hasn't found 'the one'. Each child is different and usually takes an instant liking to it, you probably will have to buy several and use the hit n miss approach.. lol Good luck!

i found the heinz soft spout cup to be best.....and it does not spill......there is also a 3 in 1 cup by pigeon...that starts with a teat then a spout and finally a straw....its very versatile

Try Avent. They are blue cups with handles, and everything interchanges with all of their products. If your son won't try drinking out of the sipper, you can put a nipple into it instead, so he at least gets used to holding the cup.

Hello,

With me trying to transition my twins from bottle to cup, these are what I purchased for them and they love them!

The liquid never spills because baby has to suck on the soft straw for the liquid to come out.

My twins love these so tonight, I went to WalMart and purchased two more.

Hope this helps you................... : - O

We've tried them all, too, and the all leak eventually. We've used the Playtex ones the most. Good luck!
