Mix solution of 1 tbsp. white vinegar and 2 cups warm water.

Note: When I was younger my mom used to soak my step fathers feet in vodka. Vodka is odorless and should help kill bacteria. Not sure if that will help sour milk smell but its worth a try.

Hi there! I have had that problem in my home as well and the best thing that worked for me is to use water and baking soda: mix a cup or 2 of water and a couple tablespoons of baking soda together and take a sponge or a wash cloth and wipe down the area that smells on the couch. Let it dry and then do repeat it for a couple days. The smell should go away after that. But before you do that make sure that the baking soda isn't going to discolor your couch by testing a little somewhere discrete. If that doesn't work, wipe with a wet sponge or washcloth and then Febreze the area until really wet. And then let it dry. OR you can just take the cushion and cover and put it in the washer. I hope at least one of these will work for you.

Wash the sofa cushions, but before you put them in the machine spray them with vanish. Then make sure that you clean the sofa and that should hopefully work

You need to wash the cushion cover and put the foam into the tub with baking soda and mild detergent. Squeeze and lather over and over and rinse with the shower head until all the soap is out. Wring out and set in the furnace room (very dry room) to dry quickly.

Or you can head to a craft store and buy a new foam cushion, and just get it cut to fit the cover.

Can you remove them and wash them? If not, try a carpet shampoo or Fabreeze.
