My son was diagnosed with Gastro-colic reflex, so the doc said there is not much to do about it other than find a formula he likes. Well we are trying Enfamil AR right now. It has rice starch in it. He loves it, but seems to be constipated with it and I think un-comfortable while eating it. The thing is that he keeps it down though. That was one of our problems. He kept spitting up a lot, with this formula he doesn't. So does anyone know anything about this formula? Do you think I should stay with it even though he 'seems' to be uncomfortable or should I switch again? Any thoughts would be great, thanks!

My brother ownt eat food , he dumps it on the floor and then chew on the bowl or plate and I try to make his foot more appealing to him but then he just puts i ton the floor or smears it on the table (his masterpiece) and then licks the spoon or chews and tries to eat the dishes. What should I do ?

Reason for Asking: My brother is like my son, and I think this is abnormal.

I've tried feeding him some pablum at night thinking that it would fill him up and sleep all night but it doesn't work. I've tried letting him sleep with me thinking he might be too cold in his bed but that doesn't seem to be the problem either...can anyone help?

My daughter is 3 1/2 months old and is constantly chewing on her hands, drewling (sp?) everywhere, and has been pretty crabby the past few days. Tonight in particular, her cheeks are very rosey. Is it too early or could she already be teething?

When is a baby's teething pain the worst? When the tooth is under the gum and moving up or when it has just come through the gum or when it's already exposed? I should know this according to his fussines, but I'm just curious as to what other moms have experienced. Thanks!

My girlfriends mom keeps giving our three month old daughter juice (barely watered down) and food like applesauce, whip cream, ice cream, gravy, ketchup etc... My girlfriend has asked her to stop repeatedly but she gets defensive and says she's has raised five kids (4 are at extremely over weight). The doctor told us that we couldn't feed her anything besides forumla and a little water til after 4 months. She just hit the 3 month mark last week. What are some of the down sides to feeding her these things this early so i can show her why this is wrong

I appreciate my mother for keeping my kids once every two weeks while i work, but she wants to feed my seven month old table food just because she has broken a tooth. I don't agree with this, but I don't want to loose my child care either... Can someone help me come up with a way to tell her not to do this?

She has gotten a lot better sice I went back to work, and she started daycare. But on the weekends, she will hardly stay in her crib and nap, and at night she wakes up at odd hours crying to get in bed with me. The only way I can get to sleep is to let her, but it's driving me (and my husband) crazy!
