If you are a pervert or have a smart elec remark to make, please don't answer this question.

I am a woman and have no clue about the function of this male organ. I would prefer men to answer since they own this equipment, but ladies if you have second hand info shared with you by a man, I'll take it.

She has apparently thrown her panties away at school when this happens, she says she is having too much fun to stop and go to the bathroom. We have taken things away, tried grounding her, made her clean up her messes, all do not work. Her doctor says she is perfectly healthy, too. We are fresh out of ideas to get things under control, does anyone have any other ideas?

i'm about to lose my mind. my kid just about burned our house down today. he lit a piece of trash on fire in the garage. then took it outside and put it out. that could've been reaaaally bad.

the day started with a lie, and has continued onward.

and then, i get to deal with his mom. who is supposed to take him every tuesday through thursday. last week she dropped him off on wednesday; right in the middle of a quiet, romantic and much-needed date.

so this week she can't take him tomorrow because it's the 4th, and she has a job going all day. and she can't have him because she'll be in a shop. well guess what!! a couple weeks ago i had jasper with me for NINE hours at the freaking wedding chapel, because no one else could watch him.

not a big deal about the 4th--except that we had dinner plans. that i scheduled, not knowing she wasn't taking him.

what do i do!??????????

When did you realize you were a grown up? Did something happen to affect you? Was it a change in mentality? In behavior? Or just a new awareness?

I have a 10 year old daughter who has a few phobias. Ever since she was a small baby she has hated loud noises, like balloons popping and fireworks. Since the 4th of July is coming up, this phobia is once again in the forefront of her mind. She starts to feel bad and embarassed about her fears. I have told her that there is nothing to be embarrassed about and LOTS of people, adults and kids fear things, and the fear of loud noises is common. But, she still feels bad. Can anyone share their fears with her? Maybe she won't feel so alone in her fears....Thanks. Please be mindful of language and content, for I intend to allow her to read the responses for herself. Thanks again....

i was shocked when i heard that they're talking about taking dodgeball out of p.e. bc it might hurt a child's feelings to be 'out'. where do we draw the line btwn honest to goodness protecting our kids, psychologically and physcially, from things and experiences that can truly be harmful, and letting them experience the neccessary bumps and bruises that make up the life of a child? whatever happened to teaching ur child to be a modest winner, and a gracious loser?

My 5 (almost 6) yr old son is a lovely boy. He is helpful and kind but he behaves like a hall monitor and is very controlled regarding other children's behaviour, and with his own feelings. He wants to be such a 'good boy'. However, when he does do something naughty and he is caught out, he clenches his fists and gets all rigid and starts to cry, almost as if he can't believe he would be capable of naughty behaviour. Has anyone found a good way to get a child like this to lighten up?

I was spanked as a child. Not abused, or beaten, just spanked. All three of my siblings and me were spanked with a belt by our father. Some people here say that spanking makes children violent or bad, but none of my siblings are. My oldest siblings both skipped grades in high school and have graduated from college and now have steady jobs. My sister and I go to one of the best schools in our area. She just had scores high enough or her SAT to be a National Acheivement Scholar. I'm in Honors and advanced math classes. None of us act out or are violent. The only time I ever hit anyone was in kindergarten and he had stolen something from me. So it worked out very well for us. What do you think about spanking.

I am a father of three children. A 10 year old and 6 year old girls and a 3 year old boy. I have used spanking as a form of disclipline ever since my oldest was about 2 and it works for me. However my neighbor has a very naugty 8yo boy and she has asked me to spank him because he will not listen to her. This kid is rotten, he refuses to obey his mother, calls her names, etc. She is a single mom and ths kid's father is no where to be found. I admit he is a little brat and needs a thoroughly blistered little bottom, however I am not his father. How should I handle this?

my mother-in-law has always favored my husbands son over mine.she flies him out to hawaii (where she lives) for xmas, sends him the "bigger better" gifts, sends him email...etc...my son is just an after thought to her and it pisses me off! my son is 8 and he notices this. i was not raised that way...i love my step son like my own! my parents treat him like their own grandson, and love him like all their biological g-kids. now i have a new baby with my hubby...i'm scared to death things will get worse now. this woman KNOWS how we feel about it, we (my husband and i) have BOTH spoken to her about it. she just ignores it, or refuses to talk to us for several days.
considering that she is a licenced therapist...her actions are bazzar to me!!??
