I am from Chalmette and I lost my son's shot records. His doctor's office was also located in Chalmette. I am trying to find a way to obtain this information. I can not contact his school because it was a private owned business and I hadn't given them his records.

Breakfasts at this school are 60 cents. I am just wondering what some of you parents out there pay for your kids to eat lunch at school, and in what state. I figured that it would be almost the same amount for me to make him lunches and take them from home (I previously thought it would be cheaper). We are in Arkansas.

I have a four year old son who won't be 5 until after the cut off to start school. The school tested him and found that he is too far advanced for their kintergarden program and wants to put him in 1st grade. I feel that he is too young to be in 1st grade, but his dad feels that he is ready. What should we do, or am I just being too over protective of my little man.

Serious responses only, please!!!!!!!

We live in a remote area with NO neighbors. While it is beautiful and we swim and ride bikes and takes walks and build forts......all she really has is me too play with. I work nights and my husband days.....so we shoulder it pretty well BUT I feel that she may be losing out on "neighbor time". She seems so happy and to be honest REALLY grown up.

I would have loved the opportunity to spend a summer with my Mom when I was growing up BUT am I limiting her social progression. Any thoughts and/or ideas?

the earliest movie i remember seeing was some disney cartoon movie at about age 5. i tend to think kids will have plenty of time to see movies, so teach them to read and appreciate books when they're younger instead.

also, i don't know that a 2 or 3 yr old would comprehend or remember a movie anyway, so what's the point?

I took my 6 year ld step-daughter to get her ears pierced for Christmas. When we got home, I discovered she had stole something from the store ( a finger watch). She lied and told her father I bought it for her. I think she actually had herself convinced I did! I made sure he KNEW I DID NOT buy it! I made her take it back to the store, and tell the manager she stole it. My husband made her write 50 times "I will never steal again". My question is...How do I get over it??? It has been 6 months, and I can't believe how angry I still am about it!!! I told her if she EVER does it again,I will take her straight to the police station. Am I just being over stressed about it, should I just forget about it? I just can't seem to let it go. Do you think her punishment was enough? Serious answers ONLY please.

How do I ensure she gets up. Sometimes for many nights she does not and then suddenly once she does, then repeats next day as well. When I remind her before sleeping not to do so, she does not! Remains in her mind while sleeping, i guess..
