broke a beer bottle?? Gotti first let me say how classy you are to not just to buy cans!!! And yeah spank his little behind.beer is not cheap and the little rug-rat should be a lot more careful. if that had happened in Arkansas on a Sunday the kid would have got a lot more than a spanking because its a dry county here and you cant by beer. (TRUE FACT)

Ummmm, if you think that spanking your kid for something that obviously seems like an accident you need some parenting classes. And as for having to clean it up, that's your job as a parent. I think your more upset that it was a beer. If it was that your child spilled the milk tryin to get the beer you wouldn't be so upset. Plus, instead of posting the question on here why don't you take that time to clean up the mess. That would give you the time. :-D

You never hit a kid. I really think if you hit a child, you should go to jail. There is never a reason to inflict pain on another human being or animal.
I am sure the child didn't do it on purpose to make you angry. What do you mean you don't have time to clean up that crap??
Isn't that a mother's job?
Maybe YOU should get on the floor and suck up the spilled beer, sounds like you need something? Any of your kids on meds for ADD or ADHD? Try that and then give yourself a time out.

Oh, but you sure have time to be online complaining about cleaning up that crap, don't you?
A spanking is not appropriate for the child. For YOU, on the other hand... well, what are you doing with beer within a child's reach, anyway? Shame on you.

What do you suppose he was gonna do with that? Why did he even have access to milk?? Don't you think eating his cereal without beer is punishment enough? I don't! Yes, spank him the same number of times the word "accident" appears in all these answers and then make him glue the entire bottle back together again. Maybe after getting glue in his cuts, he'll think twice about touching milk again.

What? Are you serious lady - I mean really!
Sorry but I'm disgusted, people like you don't even deserve to have children.
The poor kid was trying to get milk out of the fridge for Christ's sake - don't have time to clean up that crap? what the hell is wrong with you?
Yes spanking is appropriate - but you need the spanking not the poor child..... DISGUSTING!!!!

NO! Accidents happen to everyone. That could have happened to anyone in the house.
Maybe you should keep the glass items behind the milk.
I also think you might want to get some counseling because you sound rather frustrated with either your life or your child and there's potential here that you may either be or get abusive.
Talk to a pro and find more constructive ways to take out your frustrations.

excuse me, my Kid, how old is "your kid" maybe you should put the milk where it is accessible instead in back of a beer bottle, if you don't have time to "clean up that crap" then what Do you have time for, I hope you have time to raise a child in a kind and loving way.

Well it all depends on what kind of beer it was, domestic or imported?
In any case, don't spank the kid. Just sell some of his toys to replace the broken beer.

Absolutly not! It was an accident dad. You should NEVER spank a child for something that was an accident. This creates insecurites. Makes him/her scared of messing up and thus depriving the child from mistakes and correction. Also leads to lies. Because the child will be afraid to tell you he/she screwed up. You always want open communication with your kids, not fear.
