Add some brocolli and chicken. (precooked ofcourse!) Or some beef and potatoes (again precooked) (chix goes with the chix flavor and beef goes with the beef flavor)
Also you can add 1/2 a can of the mixed veggies. That would also work.

Even if you only put half the seasoning, that's still a lot of sodium for a 10 year old. But if you cook chicken and veggies and then add the noodle and not so much of the seasoning, then I guess that's good.

I use them as a base for stir fry instead of rice. They are especially good with darg veggies like broccoli and asparagus. You need to flavor with some stir fry sauce, or just buy the frozen meals with the seasoning included, that way you just throw away the seasoning packet. I stir it up nice and well so my kids won't just push off the veggies.
I also will add an egg at the end of boiling to mimic egg drop soup if I am in a rush and have no time for stir-fry.

I do teaching for kids in the public schools about caring for your heart. I know that many of the children are eating this and I teach them that this is REALLY bad for them. The sodium content is awful, it is full of saturated fat..noodles are fried and often contain palm oil. The kids also like to eat it as a snack and they break up the noodles, sprinkle the sauce on the dry noodles and eat it. I teach them to eat healthier snacks...this snack may cause major heart disease and we are seeing more disease at a younger age.

Its hard work. You cant get it by simple asking any type of question and posting it under Religious category. The question you are talking about was in no way religious or spiritual in nature. It was loaded with sarcasm. Even this one is and i'm sure even this question will be reported since its a wrong category you have chosen to ask such questions. After so many years in yahoo you still have not figured out where to post what type of questions !!! Surprising.. Anyways thanks for the 4 points

Children go through phases where they only want to eat one thing. Not to worry. Their bodies know what they need and compensate for it. Next month he may be hooked on spaghetti. No use trying to force him to eat something he doesn't want. As long as he's eating, he will thrive and as time passes, his tastes will change.
