a question was asked by someone else on how to get there mother in law to stop buying her teen daughters clothes and underwear from victorias secret.. this baffled me.. what is wrong with it as long as it is not revealing . victorias secret carries a line for teens called PINK, it consists of cotton underwear and bras and the clothing line carries mostly swearpants and hoodies, the logo is even a little dog which is printed on most of the underwear... dont you think by this mother telling there daughter there is something wrong with it.. that she is the one putting the dirtiness to it, by introducing that thought to her daughters.. they prolly just think of it as a name barand.. the clothes and underwear are better quality, the dont fall apart when you wash them and they are made to fit better and be more comfortable.. so do you think there is something wrong with it.

Im 18 almost 19, im in college, im in between jobs and I don’t pay any of my bills except for my cell phone and gas in my car. I rarely hang out with my friends because I am concentrating on school, never done drugs (I do not intend to either), and I rarely drink and my curfew is usually between 12-1230 depending who im with. I just met this guy about three days ago and I haven’t told my parents about him, I cant tell my brother because he’ll tell my parents and I don’t want to, however I can’t cover this guy for eternity. When I go somewhere by myself my parents think im acting strange and want to know if that’s really where im going. They are the type of parents that I feel would follow me just to make sure that’s where im going so I don’t think I can see this guy anymore, I want to be my own independent self that doesn’t have to tell mommy and daddy who I am hanging out with. I know I have to start paying my bills and take responsibility on that end but still im young and I want to live life and not by secrets. When I was in high school I never stayed out late, never snuck out of the house, I always called to tell them when I was going somewhere or when I left one friends house to go to another friends house (I still do that) i always do what they tell me to and when they tell me to do it. Should I be rebellious?

I'm an older brother to a 15-nearly 16 year old male.
We've shared a room for a long time, but several days ago, I was only kind of half asleep and noticed him masturbating by torchlight, In our room. I didn't say anything and just rolled over and went back to sleep, I think he must have stopped because he asked if I was awake when I rolled over, whether or not he kept going I don't know.
I've been doing it since I was 13, no doubt he's been doing it just as long, He's walked in on me doing it a few times by accident, And we've both seen each other naked dozens of times, He's also told me he does it, and I've never really batted an eye to any of it, but for some reason, this really gave me a smack in the face.
I still don't know whether to say anything in case I embarress us both. I know there's nothing wrong with it but actually seeing him doing it has me gobsmacked 4 some reason.

Me and a couple friends were driving into the city for a night of partying, we live about 40 min away. Anyway as we driving one of my friends had to pee because alcohol (not the driver). So we pull into a gas station but guess what - it's just a person in a tiny booth, no service or bathrooms!

So my friend ran around to the side of the building and past this ice vending machine. And she just went for a pee there on the asphalt!!!

What would you do?

People have such strong opions about teenage moms, just because im 18 doesn't mean im going to be a bad mother, so why does everybody assume that. People think just because I got pregnant im not going to finish school and go to collage, or that I take the role of being a mother lightly. I have a beautiful 3 week old daughter and she is everything to me, I'm still going to school and plan to go to college. So why do people have such negitive things to say about me? I read some of the things people post about young people who have become pregnant and come to this site for advice and all you can give them are your negitive thoughts on the subject, and yet when you write and ask for help you expect people to respond with helpful thoughts not "you should have kept your legs shut" and other hurtful rude remarks. Does makeing these people feel worse about a already bad situation make you feel better or do you all just write these things to make urselfs feel superior?

Anyone have any advice? My cousin is 13, an only child, and she has no friends because shes a self centered spoiled brat. She has no respect for anyone, she gets in fights and the next day thinks nothings wrong. She always gets what she wants from her parents. I know this is wrong, but I feel horrible telling her mom to not buy her so much She LOVES her daughter so much. Her mom is basically her only friend (even though she disrespects her); she plays games with her, spends time with her, and feels sorry for her because she has no friends. She has recently met a couple of guys on myspace, and calls them (in texas and virginia, the virginia guy is a MAN, not a boy). Her mom took her cell phone away and the computer. Has anyone else experienced this with their child? What advice can I give her mother? I told her to seek counseling, however the daughter says she will not talk to a counselor. Would the counselor get her to talk? HELP!

My friend has a daughter who is about to turn 8. She refered to her as a "preteen" the other day, b/c she needed to now buy preteen gifts , (mp3 players, and other electronic stuff), instead of regular toys (dolls, and games and other girl toys). She said all the other girls her age were interseted in the same types of things also, and that preteen was now at a younger age then in our day. (btw, we are only in our mid 20's). I think shes crazy, and preteen should not be until age 11. What do you all think?

I'm 14, and I just found out I'm pregnant. My father shot himself in the head last month, My mom hates me so when I found out I was pregnant I ran away to my friends house. at work..i found something i shouldnt have. will i get in trouble? at work in the desk i found an i-pod, so i took it home with me. i work for a large corporation with around 300 employess, it could have been anyones..but they have cameras all around the store watching..will i get charged or fired? will they find out? should i return it or no? it happened about a week ago..

in my previous questions i mentioned the fact that all of my "friends" hated me except for one, Jaya. today at school jaya wasn't here, and i passed shay (one friend who hates me) a note that said "if you don't want me to hate you, then why do you keep talking about me to jaya?" at recess, steve (shay's boyfriend) was being a messenger for shay and he said something i can't remember and i was just like "she started it!!" and he went back then he came back and said that shay wanted to know how this was her fault and i said " even if ur mad at your best friend, you don't talk sh*t about them behind their backs" and steve wouldn't tell me what shay said. so at the end of the day, steve was trying to convince me to say sorry, and i said "you can tell her i'm sorry she's a b****" and then at safety patrol dune (my friend, i'm not sure if she hates me) said that shay was mad at jaya cuz shay didn't say any of that, which is bull because she already confessed that she said it

My Grandad died a few years ago, I still haven't gotten over it completely. I can talk about him sometimes without getting upset though, and of course I have my moments when I feel upset, but I feel that I can't talk to my mum about it or my sister as I don't want to get them upset, it then gets bottled up, but I let it out when I'm alone every now any then.

Decorating the tree tonight with the christmas music on I don't feel it's right to be happy without my grandad here... I smile when I think of him and gosh I loved him like anything he was an amazing man!
I know he is a better place where he is, not suffering and everything, and is it selfish wanting him back? Due to the circumstances he was under when alive my mum said he is better of where he is... and yes I agree but I would do anything to have him back, and because of this I feel selfish...
How can I think of him without getting upset..? How can I feel better knowing he isn't going to be here for yet another christmas?

He is a complete slacker and my in-laws let him get away with everything. he sits and plays xbox and world of warcraft all day every day and refuses to do anything at all other than that. last year he almost failed for missing so much school, he had to go to summer school which was a joke. he gets up in the morning, tells his mother he doesnt want to go, she calls him in absent, he goes back to bed. this happens at least 2-3 times a week. his first grade card came back last week and it was all D's and F's except for one C. they took his xbox and computer away for 2 whole days WOW. they both dont have much education, so they must not feel he needs one. he is worthless, they are even more worthless. they are setting him up for failure and they dont seem to care. is there a way i can can get the school and truancy people involved so they will hold them accountable legally if they dont start forcing him to attend school? it angers me that they dont care.
