mine is sitting on my great grandpa's lap when I was 6, and listening to the stories he told about trains... he was an engineer who worked on trains, and it was his last Christmas.
my sister never even got to meet my great grandpa, and my younger brother was only 2 at the time... so only my older brother and I have any memories of him... it means a lot to us.

The last Christmas I spent with my grandma. She had cancer and we all knew it was the last Christmas she would be with us although I was only about 12 years old so I didnt really want to accept it but it turned out to be an amazing Christmas. I still have a picture from when I was opening my presents that morning and my grandma was sitting next to me and everytime I look at it I realized how much I took for granted the little amount of time I had with her and how much I miss her. It always seems to bring a tear to my eye.

thinking about it gave me the blues LOL. I actually must say, I was fortunate to have a very close/nice/happy family. I guess I only remember them being happy days, carols, giving and sharing. I'm so glad God gave me such great family to share with. So my favorite memory is about all of us being happy, eating our Christmas dinner and sitting around the 3 teasing and opening presents. I hope I can give the same to my baby girl. Awesome question! Happy holidays

I was probably 4 and one Christmas we had tons of snow probably 2 feet. We went to my grandparents house and my entire family was there, there was about 16 people. We all went snowmobiling behind their house it was so much fun. All my cousins were there it was perfect. That was the last time so many of us got together. My grandpa built a bond fire too and we roasted marshmallows =]

My daddy would play with me, all day long. Whatever we kids wanted to do, he'd go for it. It wasn't often that we received all this attention, but it made us feel very loved.
