Yes you have to go to the doctor. Here in the UK, you can tell the doctor what you've just told us, since the doctors are not allowed to tell anyone (eg parents) about what you have talked about. They will not judge you, if that is what you are worried about.

As for taking the pill before you enter any relationship...it's a fair idea, it gives your body time to adjust to it, make sure it doesn't have any side effects. The doctor will go over it with you though.

just go to the doctors frist don't worry there are lots of other reason why a person gets on the pill. my mom didn't want me to untill i was 16 and no i didn't want ti to have sex. i wanted it so i could controle my period so i wouldn't get it when i was going on vaction. turns out abotu the time i turned 15 is tarted throwing up everytime i got my period. went to the doctor and he ended up putting me on the pill. so yes u do need a perscrpition the frist time but after that just call the pharmasy. but ya if ur parents mind u being on the pill tell them all the other advtages like being able to be in `controle, having it hurt alot less, and there are so many more just ask ur doctor.

Oh my.... If you have this much trouble spelling and conveying thought, how will you read the directions on the pill packaging? I say, go to planned parenthood and you'll be able to get the pill for free. They also can't tell your parents. I also recommend that once you become sexually active, you still make him wear a condom for extra safety.

Then go take a reading and writing course.

You should really talk to your mom about this.

But, if you arent in a relationship yet there is no hurry, since you will probably not head right for the bed, and when you get thinking about it, you should schedule an appointment with your doctor for a Pap smear, to make sure that you can go on birthcontrol without problems.

But really, talk with someone face to face about it.

And yes! of course you have to pay for it. Depending on the type it can get expensive. $40 for pill without insurance/month. Mine is $10 on insurance/month. So it's probably not economical to start just for the sake of doing it.

They are not going to give you the pill "just incase you have a relationship". They normally ask you if your in a relationship. They reckon there will be a new law out soon saying young girls can get the pill from the pharmacy, but when it comes into action, i don't know!

If I were you I would check for a clinic or planned parenthood in your area. They have counselors that can help you decide what type of birth control would be best for you and they have privacy rules and sliding scale fees.

yes you do have to go to the doctors dont worry about it i did this and all you need to say to them is that you want to go on the pill they dont ask why they will just ask some questions about your health and your families health history to try and determind what one is best for you. dont be embaressed. and you get it for free good luck
