I'm 18 and this is my first child, and it's my mom and dads first grandchild. They have been a major form of support throughout my entire pregnancy, but the way they are acting makes me think that they are going to take over as soon as my son is born because they think they'll know best. The same goes for my boyfriends parents. they already have 3 grandchildren, and his brother is very open with them and they spend a lot of time over at their grandparents house. they seem to think that i'm going to be that open. I feel otherwise. Everyone seems to be assuming that they will be able to keep him when they want to, but i want to be selfish. at least for a little while. and he probably won't be out of my sight for awhile, especially not over night. Is that wrong on my part? I'm not saying that they won't be able to see him, i will just be there too. or is everything just my imagination, and will the excitment wear off after the baby comes?

i am applying for medicaid for my 2 month old son, we live in michigan and my mother watches him during the day while i'm at work, can i also apply for CDC: Child development and care? which is basically child care payments. or will i not get it cause it is a relative who watches him?

For about one week I would have these shooting pains in my breasts. This week those have stopped but my breasts are so enlarged! They are still small to most people, but for me they feel so heavy and so big.
I'm also a little bloated.
My friend said I should take preg test, it was negative, then like an hour later there was a VERY faint pink line. So the next afternoon I took another one and it was a clear negative.
Whats up with my breasts being big? I'm 24 years old, passed puberty.
Back Story: About 3 weeks ago I had a light period for 2 weeks ( I never get my period, usually I have to use BC to induce my period) I used panty liner the whole time
Sorry I wrote so much. I'm 24 and been with my fiancee for 3 years, so no lecturing please.

ok this is kinda odd but is it normal for a 10 month old to watch tv like my daughter is 2 and she just started watching tv and movies here recently she used to watch a second then leave as if it bored her or something well when we put her cartoons or movies on my son will sit there with her and watch the whole thing does anyone else child do this?

I was just wondering why so many people are jumping on the bizarre name bandwagon. I've always loved good traditional names. Why would you choose a name that has 17 different spellings, or even one that is SO popular at the moment that your child will have 4 other kids in his/her class with the same name? Hey everyone i need a little help with this one so here it goes last month my period came on the 23rd and my normal period due dates are around 12-13th this is the first time i have had a a late period. i have been trying to get pregnant from april this year. its now the 16th of november and im 3 days late. my boobs have been hurting me for a couple of days now so what should i do? take a hpt test or wait? why do u think my period came so late last month? or is there no way i could be pregnant?

I had a miscarriage about a year ago and i constantly think about it,i dream babies and long for my own child. Im 15 weeks pregnant with 2nd one and feel sooo bad...i had terrible morning sickness till about 10w and since then i haven't had any energy at all...But like today and once or twice a week for the last 4 weeks i feel really horrid and not right at all...I am (every day) very faint and dizzy, even if i lye down on the bed/sofa with closed eyes it's all spinning..and i feel sooo sick, not just the typical morning sickness but like i'vehad a stomach upset for days..and my body is cold and sometimes shivery and it feels like ive been in bed with a fever for days (don't have a fever)...Ive been on extra iron supplements for three weeks in case my hg is a bit low (was with my last one, never felt bad with her) but no change...has anyone else felt like this? It really knocks me out and i need a sofa break between everything i do....
Any advise is appreciated x

Can i qualify for medicaid?

My daughter said yesterday her bus driver pulled into George Webbs before school, they waited there for 10 minutes, and then he came out and said they were out of Steak & Eggs.

I have felt pre-labor symptoms for some time now and today another one has popped up, nausea! I have had BH and back cramping along with extreme nausea this morning and last night after I ate. I feel as though I should go and make myself sick because it's gross! It's like I can smell vomit! Sorry but that's the best way I can describe it. I am just wondering if my little girl will be here soon ;) I sure hope so. I can't wait to meet her and I don't think that I can get any more miserable! Thanks!

Im only 1cm dialated and 50 percent effaced (according to yesterday) and my contractions are from 5-10 min apart (going on 3rd day now..) and its really getting to me.. Im in alot of pain and i cant sleep at all!.. is their anything i can do about it? or just have to suck it up and feel horrible all day until i deliver..which could be forever away feeling like this.. also how will i know when its important to go the hospital? or will i just know?
