Why?

Are there any independent research studies that have found a link between vaccination in children and illnesses such as autism and others?

Those who are opposed to child vaccinations - do you believe that all vaccinations are unsafe or just certain ones? If so, which?

Apparently any sort of commitment is no longer an issue when it comes to making babies. Why not just "sperm donor?"

Okay ladies, so PLEASE keep your fingers crossed for me! I am having alot of pain today! I was in hospital tuesday for contrax and they were 2-4 mins apart and i was only dialated 1cm. WELL: Today there are some massive storms rolling through! I am HOPING that the drop in pressure will do something. Please, please PLEASE! LOL..

My employer does not offer short term disability insurance. Anybody know of good insurance companies that offer INDIVIDUAL short term disability insurance? I want to purchase own, personal disability insurance before i have my baby in April 2008.

my son is a little over 4 months old and he weighs 19 pounds but he is really long, in his infant seat his feet touch the seat of the car so we bought a convertible seat and it is backwards facing and hes fine in it but he would be more comfortable if if was forward facing, he is fine sitting straight up and has very good head control, is it ok to go ahead and turn the carseat to face forward?

i had twins 2 years ago .. after 3 months i gave in .. cos despite staying with in laws i got no help.. so i had to hire a maid and now my kids are quite a bit attached to her.. and well to me too but not that much . My mom keeps opening my mail! It is illegal and it is a federal crime. I can report her for it and don't think I wouldn't. I don't open her mail. It's rude. I hardly ever swear or say the F word, but at this time in this situation I soooo would use it. I told her it's illegal, but she doesn't care. Help?

yesterday there was very very very light pink discharge but only when i wiped. today this morning its was a little more and then today when i wipe there is like medium blood and like a spot of blood on my pad(sorry i know thats gross). i am 4 days late is my period arriving?

I , myself, am a little miffed that they're doing it. They say they are safe and the only problem is that parents are overdosing their kids and I agree 100% with that. My kids need cold medicines. I wont stand by while my 15 month old is coughing and sneezing and sniffling all day and night and not sleeping or eating when I could have given her the correct kind and correct dose of cough and cold medicine so she could eat and sleep thru the night comfortably. Medicines doses are determined by weight most times and that's how it should be. That's just my opinion.

We've been living together for a long time now...we both have great jobs..we have nice cars..nice apartment..nice furniture..we do not have back bills..we are fully established! The PROBLEM- I want to start havign a family..I want a baby! and he wants to wait...His sister who is 2 years younger then me is having a baby and her boyfriend doesnt work..they live with his aunt..and yet they are doing..here we are established and he says we arent ready. what do i do? She is 13 months old now, but she knows most of the things we say or tell her. But she starts to hit someone or hit something or throw thing near her whenever she is not allowed to do something or she resents. I almost work outside, I try my best to get close to her to teach and guide her but she always drives me crazy. How can I do to stop her such behaviours. ( she spends most of time at home with her grandmom and two cousins (4 and 6 years old- They are so naughty))
Besides, she doesn't care her eating, she can eat everything (small amounts) except for her food. She keeps food in her mouth for hours( she's got 7 teeth)
What should I do for my baby?

I know that anything in the gene pool can come out but I'm just wondering everyone's opinions on what my baby will look like. I have light brown/dirty blonde hair naturally, blue eyes, and very very fair skin. I am a quarter italian but there is no evidence of that in my pale skin! My husband is half puerto rican/half black, but his father who is black almost looks mixed but is full black just very light skinned. My husband has hazel eyes, light caramel complexion, and black hair. What do you THINK my baby will look like? I am hoping it gets atleast a little bit of a tan? haha i'd like to know everyone's opinions.

In honor of my deceased godmother, Bernice and my very ill grandmother, Bithia when I conceive if it is a girl I will give her the middle name Brooklynn.

My middle name is Lynn. The name starts with B in honor of both my godmother and grandmother. And Brooke means stream which my DF name means land near water and a stream is water.

Brooklynn meaning: Combined from Brooke - "Stream" and Lynn - "Pretty one"

So do you like Brooklynn as a middle name? If so do you know any good first names.

Our family just went through a fire and lost everything. She seems to be having trouble dealing with it and I wanted to know if she is too young to go to counceling. I didnt think so but my husband seems to think that she wouldnt understand enough. I want to give her some time but if she continues to have trouble with it and keeps talking about it then I want to possibly take her to talk with someone. Any info would be appreciated!!

it seems like my period is here but i feel nauseous and my breasts are still tender and my cramps are wierd. I was questioning implantation bleeding because last night I had cramps that were stronger then period cramps (its hard to explain what they felt like but very different). I had bled a little last night then nothing until the morning then it's been kinda off and on...its very different then my normal periods. i'm not sure what to do now. plus my period was 1 day late....its never like that.

he whines when he wants or doesn't want something. he ignores me & his father completely or does the opposite of what we ask of him or tell him. he hurts his 11 month old brother. & is just bad. he is starting to act like this at his grandma's house too. but at the babysitter she thinks he is terrified of her because he only says about 5 words to her all day & doesn't do anything bad. if the other kids are being bad, he finds something else to do. do we ignore it? do we yell louder? we have spanked & used time out but those things haven't worked out...HELP!!!!

My baby is 2 mnths now . She wakes up every 2-3 hours to feed. I want to take an important exam when shes around 6 months old. I wont have any help at that time and i dont plan her to send to day care. What will be a typical routine with a 6 mnth old? Also they start semisolids at that time is it too difficult in the starting? Typically how many times they feed...? How much they sleep? I know every baby is different but more replies gonna me a fair idea.
