At what point would a normal person stop clowning around and actually take responsibility for their actions so that they didn't lose all child visitation rights?

Britney has done so much that a normal person would not do that any comparison is ludicrious. Until she stops her partying, until she cares more about her children than herself & her partying, she will continue on this same path. At this point you have to ask yourself if the children are better off without her. Hopefully when she does have them, they are being taken care of by hired help b/c she certainly has not shown the mothering abilities necessary to care for them.

Honestly... this kind of garbage happens all the time!! I don't understand it at all. I am a foster mom, so I take care of little ones for flake parents all the time while we give them chance after chance after chance to get their stuff together. The only good news in her particular situation is that at least the dad isn't a total idiot too. I never really liked him much... but at least he doesn't neglect the kids.

The part that steams me the most... is you know the social worker that has to work with her has to work 4 times as hard as with a normal person because she has to get through all her assistants and deal with all the paparazzi junk on top of a pissy mother who doesn't get what she has done wrong.

Britney, Paris, Tom Cruise, The Olson Twins and many others are examples of what happens when we worship people and expect them to be perfect. It shows how shallow we are as a society. A lot of celebrities had issues to begin with. That is usually why they are good performers. It is like that multiple personality thing. You have to become someone else to deal with your life.

Britney is not normal. Yet normal people go through similar paths. I think it has a lot to do with selfishness. Some people have to hit rock bottom to wake up. Now that her kids have been taken, hopefully she will start thinking of them. I don't see her ever really being involved with her children.

Once I became pregnant I stopped all partying and drinking. When I saw my baby for the first time I knew I'd never go back to that again I just dont understand how a sweet baby (babies in her case) couldnt change her mind. A baby makes you a completely different person!

The point comes when you first discover you are expecting your first child. She should have straighted up years ago. She is the ultimate media wh0re. She cares more about herself than her own children. Did you hear how she felt the judge did not pay her any respect?

My husband majored in Psychology for his undergrad degree...he says she's displaying classic social reality issues.

She's removed from everyday life, and has no social reality to gage against. She's isolated, and has been given everything she ever wants and more since first becoming a startlet.

She's in an artificial world with a very overinflated sense of her importance compared to others...some people can handle this - others crack.

Addiction, in many forms, accompanies this, blaming others for your problems, etc.

She cracked. So did Michael Jackson.

I heard this morning that Britney gets one night a week with her children but it has to be supervised. She needs allot of psychological help. Maybe she is just selfish and will never change.

She needs to leave LA and go live in the middle of nowhere and get her life back on track.
