i'm 38 weeks and have been having for the last 2 days
backpain
tummy pain
feel like throwing up
alittle number 2s
braxton hicks
presher in my bowel and pubic bone
i went to the hospital yesterday they put the machine on me that checks for contractions but the doctor didn't check to see if anything was happening down there i think she should have but didn't. i got told to go home and have a penadol and that was it i can't have a normal birth i am book for a c-setion next week on the 18th this is my third child but can't remember what it is like only bits of it and it would be great if anyone could help me out thanks.

My son is exactly 3 1/2 months old today. Lately (I'd say about the last 2 weeks or so) he's been exhibiting signs of having a bad temper! I can't believe this. I'll give you examples....sometimes when he fusses we would try and give him his paci...this worked up until about 3 months and then if you would try, he would instantly scream (not cry scream, I mean short, high-pitched screams and he'd knock your hand with the paci away from his face) so I took all the paci's away and he's not using them anymore. Ok, another example, he has a car seat toy that attaches to the bars of his carseat. Earlier tonight we were driving and he was in the back smacking the toy around and he started angry whining. I took it down and instantly he was better. One more example...he LOVES to stand on your lap. If he really wants to do it and you sit him back down (after like 5 minutes of him standing) he'll start the angry whining again and get really mad until you stand him up, then he's all better

I went to the doctor yesterday she said I thined out 2/3rds and she felt the babies head. I felt her moving the head. Today I had a snotty looking discharge, followed by pains. 20-30 min. apart and The pains getting worse.

My son took a toy away from the other boy and he came over and bit him on his cheek. It didn't break the skin, but you can see the teeth marks on my sons face! These guys are 4! Isn't this insane? I'm not MAD, they are only kids, but I mean, come on! Crazyness!

Actually, I'm not sure why he's doing it. But my bf's 7 year old is telling the adults in his life untrue things about eachother, or emphasizing/exaggerating the negative. He tells his mother that my bf doesn't "spend any time with him" Completely untrue, from teh time he gets off work till bedtime, he spends all his time with him playing games, helping with homework, etc. He also has told her we don't feed him. Of course, we do, and he gets snacks and second helpings of meals whenever he wants. He says his Dad never "let's him get any exercise." Quite the opposite, his dad always tries to take him to the park everyday to play around, but we actually have a hard time getting him to do physical things. He told his mother I don't "care for him" and I'm baffled, because I try really hard to make sure he likes me. I take him to movies, cook his favorite meals and treats, tuck him in, hug him all the time, etc.

What happens when your in the hospital in labor, and it is just you, your husband, and your son (2 years old) and no one else.

I know the children arent aloud in there when your giving birth, so what happens, do i have to do it by myself? Without my husband so he can watch our son?

If anyone can shed some light on this situation for me i would really appreciate it.

Currently my daughter is in a private 3 day a week preschool !! We will be moving soon and I was thinking about switching her !!! My husband seems to think its a bad idea and we need to keep her in the same school so she will be stable!! I belive that it doesnt matter cuz shes in preschool and its more like daycare then school!! Whos right??

I want a sibling close in age for my daughter, and al these women with babies that are the same age as her seem to be falling pregnant even though they weren't trying, because they aren't breastfeeding. I'm just getting sad about it because I feel like I'm being punished for breastfeeding...

I give her a pacifier, she sleeps 9-10 hours a night, and sometimes I pump and bottle-feed her, so it's not like I nurse 24/7. Any hope?

What do you guys think about this? Say you are a doctor and a couple comes in wanting another child. Their first child has a genetic disorder so they go to the doctor to see whether their second child is at risk. You test them and find that there is no chance for the 2nd child to get the illness because the husband is not the father of the 1st child. Would you tell them this?

I feel like the doctor shouldn't because this is additional information that does not deal with the question at hand. But I'm interested to see what you guys think.

Okay. My friend suggested the name Desiree Claire Alexander, but I also like the name Claire Desiree Alexander. Which one sounds better?
