Our next door neighbor has 4 kids under age 6, and she pays $7 per hour. However, we're in a fairly rural area, so if you're in a large city, the cost could be higher. I would think $4-$5 per hour would be sufficient.

Make it worth her while! If you want good childcare you have to pay for it. Maybe because im a city girl and everything costs more but as a teen i wouldnt watch an egg for 7 dollars an hour let alone 4-5 dollars! If you trust her to watch your two toddlers respect her time and give her at least 12 bucks an hour! Hello! You can't even get good a decent cafe lunch for under $13!

Im a teenager and i do babysit, i ussualy get payed about $8 dollars a hour if its for a long period of time. But then again it ussualy depends on how long i baby sit for, like if they only need me for a couple of hours i get payed around $17. And how well she is with your kids matters to. like some babysitters actually dont play with the kids. i always do.

five dollars an hour is the minimum i would want to babysit two boys. ten dollars an hour would be very generous. try to hit somewhere in between. it also depends on how old this babysitter is and how much experience she has babysitting, if she's good, pay her more.

Generally minimum wage just like any other job. Two children, particularly if they are younger calls for a bit more , in the range of $7.00 -$10.00 if she is expected to cook or change diapers.

$2 per hour per kid, so you'd pay her $4 an hour.
