ive got 2 boys now aged 12 and 10.and i dont no why but just lately they have been very bad.they have.stolen, been throwing eggs, stolen again, bunking off school, and being in places they shouldnt!!the thing is,is that they know right from wrong, and they have never done this sort of thing before.and i cant handle the lies! they never tell me the truth.untill i have the police knocking on my door! all what i have said above has happened in 2 days! and im so annoyed and angry! i have smacked both my kids before and i dont like it...but sometimes being a parent is hard enough without things like this happening! i smacked my kids with the shoe twice and took there phones away! what else am i meant to do? and yes i do talk to them all the time but clearly its not working!!

I was just wondering... Is there anyone out that that doesn't have a middle name? Would you ever consider NOT giving your child a middle name?
Why do you feel it's important for a person to have a middle name?
I only ask because I've been browsing around the baby names section of yahoo answers for a few minutes, and have been seeing some beautiful first names! But some of the these nice names seem to be mashed in with a middle name that doesn't fit them, but would sound pretty on it's own.
And if I ever have a girl child, I would want to name her Amelia. But she'll have no middle name, since I can't find one that sounds nice with that to me.

After reading lots of questions and answering a few I noticed that there is a horrifying and marked lack of knowledge among adoptive or soon to be adoptive parents about the affects of adoption for the child. My adoption was relatively closed, but I have found things out more recently but it is really traumitising being lied to and not knowing your identity. Are adoptive parents actually aware of this? And do they realised that their adopted child/children could be shattered inside but don't know how to ask about their history because they have strong fears? And have adoptees had good experiences with their adoptive parents? Any adoptees share their experiences?

Im 37weeks pregnant and have eaten alot of fruit, veg and the occasional dose of junk food throughout my pregnancy. What disturbs me was reading today about women with eating disorders who carry this habit on through pregnancy... Making theselves throw up and not eating a healthy diet. One girl was 6months pregnant and surviving on Jaffa Cakes and Lemonade. I cant say alot because iv never had an eating disorder, i felt one of the joys of being pregnant was being able to eat alot...These women are putting their unborn babies at very high risks...The article said that eating disorders whilst pregnant is a growing 'trend'.
I half blame these celebrities who leave hospital in there Skinny Jeans after giving birth, alot of young women feel that this is the way when truely u gain the weight you are supposed to then excersice and work it off after...Breast feeding i heard also helps to loose the weight.
Just wanted other peoples opinion on this topic.
