My friend took her 3 YEAR OLD daughter to get her
ears pierced .

And ask me why my 4 year old as never had them done.

i said i will let her get them done when she is 13 or over and ask me herself not before.

i told my mate she was wrong doing this at such a young age kids should be teens for things like this to be done to them and ask not have parents force things like this done to them at a young age.

her reply was in later life her daughter will thank her for getting them done at a young age.

i think she is bang out of order

what do you lot think?

Do you think this is fair i know that as teens we need a certain amount of hours of sleep but im the type of person that when you send me to sleep when im not tired i just lay in my bed for hours until i get tired. What should i do??? I also get sent to bed at 9:30 on weekdays which i dont think is right either.

I would like some opinions please. My daughter is 3 and each year since she was born her father will go for months with no type of contact then he calls whenever he feels like it and if he gives money and spends some time with her he acts as if he is such a good father. I messed up by not taking him for child support from the beginning. He works and gives my daughter nothing. Me and him always argue also his family are phonies they have my phone number and do not call for my daughter like they should or barely.I understand every child needs a father but I feel if her father really loved her he would care but he doesnt I want to try for the sake of my daughter but me and her father just dont get along and cannot reach a resoloution. I am debating whether to take him for child support now because I need the help but i really do not want anything to do with him EVER. I also want to cut the family completely off as well am i wrong? I just want to wash my hands of the situation.

im 18 years of age, i became pregnant at the age of fourteen, i was to young so i had to have an abortion. then me and my boyfriend and sex two years ago, i was frighten so i went to one of my friends who told me he knew about abortions. he gave my pills to take then he push pills up my vagina the first set nothing happened. the second time he used different pills the next day my periods came. i hadnt have my period for the month as yet but i was frighten so i went to him. now years have pass im tryin to get pregnant and nothing wouldnt happen, me and my boyfriend ahve sex on a regular basic like twice a week or once maybe and he ejaculates in me eveytime but nothing happened. please i really need your help. cant i still become pregnant

I am 15wks pregnant and i am the youngest in my family(im 21 yrs old). When my brother found out i was pregnant he was very upset due to the fact that his wife and him have been trying for 2 years to get pregnant. Today at dinner my brother was talking to my dad about being a grandpa again(i have a neice and a nephew from my sister) my dad said he is excited then my brother DROPPED THE BOMB that they are expecting now too!!! she is only about 5 wks pregnant. I am sooooooo excited for them! but then i got kinda jealous because now the attention is away from me a little bit. I feel bad about it but am still a lil upset....how do i handle this situation? I am happy and sad at the same time. I am happy that our little ones will be close in age and get to grow up together. I dont want to feel this way but i do!! any advice?? please no rude comments!

I have been taking Optinate Prenatal Vitamins (which comes with 250 DHA capsule) for about two weeks now.

But this brand doesn’t contain Vitamin A. Should I be concerned?

Just woke up to go toilet and realised that my left side was hurting. Like a stitch but worse! No pain no where else! Not sure what it is! could it be because I was laid asleep on my left side or something else? I am 18 weeks pregnant and worried that im gunna lose my little baby!

Well, I'm exclusively breastfeeding. She eats, about every 2 hours for 10-15 min on each side. I am a very healthy person and drink tons of water. My breast milk is a lot. I know that I am producing well, taking into consideration her poopy diapers and wet diapers. I went and saw the pediatrician a few days ago and forgot to ask her when my baby can eat the infant cereal. She just doesn't seem like she's full easily. She's showing some of the signs that she's ready for cereals, but I just want to see what everyone else's experiences were. When did you start giving it to your child and what time of the day did you give it to them? Thanks in advance!

yesterday i notices under my 6 weeks old sons top lip had a white spot...i thought it as just dry or cracked..but today i noticed theres more white under the upper lip. i havent noticed it anywhere else.. but could this be the beginning of oral thrush?.. and is there anything i can do to clean it before i go to the clinic in the morning?

I have twins, 7 year old girls. They'll be 8 in Dec. Anyway, we were fortunate enough until last year to give them just about everything that a couple of little girls could want. They have a ton of toys, video games, movies, and even have 2 computers in their bedroom. They have a hamster in their room as well.

Anyway, we are not so fortunate now as my husband lost his job. The girls have always abused their personal belongings. I want them to have nice things , so I replace them. They continually trash their room putting hamster food and water in their kitchen set and in their rug. They constantly have papers and toys all over the floor. Their dolls are colored on. Their dvd collection only half works because they just throw the dvds on the floor or wherever when they're done watching them. I put them to bed and when I go in their room to check on them, I find them sneaking back over to the bed.
