I cried at the ultrasound when I found out it was a boy, AGAIN. I had my heart set on a girl. But as my pregnancy progressed I couldn't imagine him being anything else. I love being the mommy of boys. Especially since I grew up with 4 sisters. Great change of pace.

I have 2 boys ( 6 yrs and 4 mo) I wanted a girl so bad the last time around and when they told me it was a boy I could literally feel my face fall. It took a while to get over it. I am now 10 weeks pregnant and worried about going through the same thing again so I am debating on whether or not I just want to wait until the delivery because there is no time for disappointment. As soon as you see your baby you don't care about anything else.

I had a boy first and was soooo happy coz that's just what I wanted then fell pregnant a second time and wanted to find out before the birth and I wanted so much to have another boy but they told me it was a girl. I was disappointed for a few weeks but then I got used to the idea then she was born and I wouldn't change a thing I'm sooo glad I got my little girl and gave my partner a daughter that he adores.
Once you see that baby you wont care if its purple with pink polka dots he or she will be perfect to you and thats all that matters.

yes, i did get that feeling. i knew at 16 weeks that i was having a girl, but i always thought i would have a boy first, so i came to expect that, and after seeing the way my nephews and nieces behaved, i wasn't sure if i wanted a girl at all. i was a little disappointed, but my daughter is everything i have EVER wanted. she's such an angel. my husband hated that i wanted a boy. he said that i should be happy that i got a healthy baby, no matter what sex the baby is.

I honestly only care that it is a healthy baby, but I am very happy it is a girl. When we found out the gender at 17 weeks through 3d ultrasound (BTW: very cool) my husband was a little upset that it is a girl. Not because he is picky, but because he only grew up with a younger brother and never has been around girl siblings. Also he is thinking about how in about twenty something years, he will have to "give her away" which is a daunting thought for any father (even my dad is still protective of me). But he has gotten used to the idea and is really excited now, he talks to my belly and tells me how much he loves her, and he even picked out her name :)

Nope, just wanted a baby. What happen to the long ago fact you just didn't know what sex it was. Years ago you just got pregnant to have a baby not to say I want a specific sex. Get real just be ready or decide to have a baby not I want a girl or I want a boy.

Yes I have 4 kids 3 are boys and 1 girl I wanted all boys thankfully I had one girl. You wouldn't have thought that I would have had anymore after my daughter due to she is the 2nd child and is very very whiney and gets pretty much anything she wants, and still went on to have 2 more and thank god they were boys. Boys are way easier then girls. But I love her so much! Her dad says she is just like me. Spoiled~however i'm still waiting for my mansion:)

A bit because hubby only wanted 2. We already had a girl and I thought having another girl might give me a greater chance of having 3. Had a boy and he is a delight - still want number 3 though.

a little at first, I really really wanted a boy. My husband already had a daughter so he wanted a boy, my parents wanted a boy, etc. So when I found out it was gonna be agirl I was little disappointed, but once we picked out a name and started shopping it seemed more real and I couldnt be happier 9 more weeks to go til I can hold my little girl!!
