yesterday i notices under my 6 weeks old sons top lip had a white spot...i thought it as just dry or cracked..but today i noticed theres more white under the upper lip. i havent noticed it anywhere else.. but could this be the beginning of oral thrush?.. and is there anything i can do to clean it before i go to the clinic in the morning?

leland hes 6 weeks old.. i dont think hes going to gargle it.

it could be a nursing blister, which is very normal. Is it on the lip, or actually in the mouth? Thrush usually is un the mouth, the inside of the cheeks and tounge.

yes sounds like thrush and no there is not really anything you can do because he needs an antibiotic. If he is breast feeding mom might need something too for her.

if it is thush it won't wipe off....if it isn't the white will wipe off. there is nothing you can do if it is thrush. they need to give the baby some antibotic for it. my oldest son had it when he was a baby.

disolve a spoon full of salt in a luke warm water and gargle it

it could very well be thrush. It;s common with little ones..
