I'm adopted. I'm 18 was adopted at the age of 3. I know quite a bit about my birth history and why adopted but at the moment seeing anything related to adoption really makes me want to cry. Need help??

My son is 7 1/2 months now. I gave him expressed BM since he was 3 weeks old. Right now, I want to stop pumping and give him formula. But he hate the taste and the smell of it. He throw up everytime I put the formula near him. I tried mixing it with oatmeal and he throw that up, too. Any suggestion? Thanks!

I am dating a man that has "NO" control over his 14,and 15 year old sons and 19 year old daughter,the mother has passed away but there is no rules,grounding,the "ONLY"chores are loading the dish washer that all (3)take turns no other chores are made to do.The kids cuss on a day to day basis like its normal,the one 15 year old supposedly has a school phobia and doesn't go to school,he stays up all hours of the night gets high on his drugs and then slleps most of the day,Normal?The 14 year old gets suspended most of the year and his mouth is terrible,They have no bedtime,the 19 year old might work(cleaning houses)at the most 5-6 hours per day and thinks she has to sleep or run the streets the rest of the time and takes her brothers with her,shes the one buying the cigs and marijuana.would do you do if the father doesn't have control?I would love to see some justice such as the school making the one go but the father can't get him out of the house so he is allowed to stay at home?What's u

I saw a name I really liked and I was hoping for some feedback on it....I am not into common names at all (ie-john, andrew, matthew, etc.) and I was wondering what people thought about it...

The name I saw was "Gideon" and yes, I know how to pronounce, it, LOL, although I had to ask first, LMFAO.

My little girl is 21 months - just wondering what are the signs that we should start potty training? She doesn't seem aware that she's peeing and doesn't try and tell me at all yet. She does seem to stay dry after a daily nap. I usually change her nappy anyway and she usually wees almost straight away - often on the carpet. She only notices she's done it afterwards and says 'oh oh!'

What's the best way to start? She's a little young to reason with yet. What equipment works best? Should we work with a potty or go for the trainer seat for the toilet. She comes to the loo with me now and seems quite intersted in what's going on.

Any advice would be great thanks!

My teenage daughter and her friend sneaked out from the friend's house, drove with a teenage boy to another town, drank alcohol, and was caught by a highway patrolman who, luckily, is a local and just called the parents instead of hauling them in. To top it off, I had called her twice in the evening to make sure they had no plans (with the girl's parents of course) because my daughter had packed a "good" outfit and I found that odd if they were staying home. I should have listened to the little voice, but she assured me they weren't going anywhere.

She's been a good kid and this is her first real mistake, but it's a big one in my book. Especially since I've preached to her about driving with some who is drinking and drinking in general since there are quite a few alcoholics in our family. I'm just so mad I could spit nails.

I've taken her cell phone, cut her off from the home phone and she will going nowhere except to school and places WITH ME. What else?

I will be 39 weeks tomorrow and being induced becuase in my first pregnacy he came really fast and almost didnt make it to the hospital. Anyway, what should I expect. At my last dr.'s appt. last Wed. I had been dialated at a 2 but then the baby moved back up and I was dialated at a half. I think he has dropped again but kinda hard to tell. Ive heard that being induced can be more painful, but Ive also heard that it can go pretty quickly. Just want to know what to expect tomorrow.....Thanks..........

Ohio mom stopped to buy donuts on her way to work (before dropping 2 year-old daughter w/babysitter). She went directly to work and FORGOT her baby was in the car! She left the baby in the car for 8 hours!

The temperature was just about 100° outside the car! Inside the car, the temperature was 150°. The baby was essentially cooked to death.

The mother is wracked with guilt. Guilt is the key word here. She was not charged with any crime because of the laws in Ohio. What happened to "endangering the welfare of a minor," or "child neglect," or even better: "involuntary manslaughter?"

Too many people are feeling sorry for this mother. Where is the compassion for the baby that died? Where is the outrage at what that poor baby suffered for the 8 hours, or however long it took for her to die?

I KNOW, in my heart, I could never let that happen. If I DID forget, it sure wouldn't be for 8 hours. No job is that good to make me forget my baby's in a hot car. What do you think—jail; what & why?
