My friends think it's wierd, but i like it. What do you think?

It could be for a girl or boy, I like it for either one. Dakota is after a guy I knew in kindergarten, who I just recently saw, and he's pretty cool. A'Lekia is after my best friends cousin. It's Hawaiian. I just thought they sounded cool together.

1) I really dislike Dakota. Bad for a boy, awful for a girl.
2) A'Lekia is ridiculous. And names with apostrophes drive me absolutely crazy.

I think it's a beautiful name aswell. Very unique but pretty. A'Lekia, now where did that come from? I have never heard that before but it is most beautiful. Dakota is also a very I believe strong name. And it suits a well independant person. Pretty name.

I think it is a beautiful name for a little girl if you wanted to use it for a little boy I'd say just change the middle name but either way it is a very lovely name

i dont usually like weird names like this. but the only weird thing is the middle name which is hardly used i like to thinkthe middle name is what gives people character. and i agree that it could be used for a boy or girl. i would really only used that middle name for a girl tho. i would probably use Kody as a nick name either way tho. good luck

You should go all the way and go with South Dakota A'Lekia or North Dakota A'Lekia.

How about Igotta Taka A'Lekia ?

If you drop the apostrophe, which has no purpose, the name is very good. Names with apostrophes are very odd.

go for it!!! The apostrophe makes it more unique. That always helps to protect identity when the person gets older.
