I am 22 years old and found out yesterday that I have Polycystic Ovaries. I have been off the pill for 5 months and periods have been irregular, except last month where it was a normal 4 day period but I hadnt had one in 60days prior. The doctor said to contact them in a 1 or 2 mths and let them know if I am ovulating, because if not they are putting me on Clomid. I just started taking ovulation tests this month and they have varried. 3 days before August 12th lines were noticable but not same color as control. Then August 12th the line was def. pretty dark, but not darker then control. Then the rest of the days after its been noticable or a very faint color. I dont know if I ovulated or not on the 12th, the night before I had a few drinks, and so when I woke up was a little dehydrated, but peed a few times before I took the test, and took it around 11am.
Any help would be greatly appreciated for as I am totally confused.

I have been charting my temps for 6 months. this is an odd month. My temps dropped 9 days ago and my perid should have started the day they dropped or at least the next day but not this far along! Before they dropping I was running between 97.5-98 now I'm between 97-97.3 though I've missed a few days thinking my perid was coming and got lazy this temping! My question is what could cause my temps to drop but no perid? I know I ovulated. Could I be pregnant with low temps and no real symptoms other than PMS stuff? HELP!!!!!

I'm 16 and even though I'm not a parent I kind of feel strongly about this. I go to the store or walk down the street and see unruly kids all over the place and their parents saying "No!" a million times and the kids don't listen. Then the parents say "Do you want a time out?" and their kids laugh at them. I can't help but think "That kid needs a swift swat on the butt."

I was spanked. I've never done drugs, never been to jail, and never have been in any major trouble. By the time I was 9 or 10 my parents didn't even discipline me anymore because I didn't need it. It's been so long since I've been in trouble it actually scared me a few weeks ago when I did get corrected (I talked back to my mom...it was P.M.S. lol).

So what's the big deal with spanking?

He squeels like a banchee constantly its piercing and goes right thru me,
he has started going ridgid and holding his breath and shaking when something doesnt go his way or something gets the better of him
and he has started headbutting the wall. he just stands on the sofa banging his head on the wall for no reason. He finds the highest things and climbs up on them and cant sit still for 2 seconds.
Doesnt respond when you talk to him, it like he just blanking me
It really worrying me, people say oh he's a right boy, but im not sure

I exclusively breastfeed right now. I plan to wean my baby at 1 year because when i go back to work ill be working with dangerous cytotoxic drugs and radiation. I was wondering if it would be ok to start her on formula at one year of age? Would there be any benefits vs giving cows milk?

It's getting harder and harder to find boys names that aren't also used as a girls...I had my son Landyn last year and found out that's also being used as a girls name...ugh!! I want to find a boys name that I can be reasonably sure wont be a girls name 20 years from now.

My boyfriend was adopted at a young age so we decided to adopt a child even though we are capable of having our own child and we have. A little girl called Jadie is going to be my adoptive daughter she is 7, but I have another daughter called Lila who is 3 and I want them to get along but I don't know how they will get along. I am also expecting a child so It could become complicated. I am really glad that Jadie is coming to live with us and I will regard her as my own but will they all get on because I can't deal with arguments as I grew up in them. Please Advise.

I have 2 teens a 16 and 14 yr old. Since a young age, I have taught them to be well behaved and respectful. My SIL has 2 kids. Her 5 year old boy is a terror, he has no consequences . She threatens him with punishment such as taking away a toy, etc. but never follows through because he throws a fit, so she gives in. She makes the excuse " he's only 5" so everyone is expected to tolerate his bad behavior. My issue is when she tells me how I should be handling issues with my teens. She has never parented a teen. She thinks she knows the "right" way to handle issues, because she has an education in childhood development. I could care less how she wants to raise her son, I don't have to live with him.How do I let her know that she isn't exactly qualified to give me advice and that it's an insult? Her brother (my husband) is not the kids father) the kids were from my previous relationship. They do however consider him their dad since their real father abused them.

One boy one girl. I am having such a hard finding the perfect names. I want unique names. I prefer them to inculed some of these letter, Z, Y, V,X. I would also like them to be incomons with the stars, moons, angel, flowers etc... thngs like that. Any suggestions. Oh and there names do not have to match each other. Thanks

I remember when I was in junior high and wished periods came every 2-3 months (or never! lol). How ironic! Now that my hubby and I are trying, I am wishing that we ovulated twice a month. The wait between periods feels so long, especially when I get my period at the end of the cycle and feel that let-down feeling like "darn, not pregnant yet."

I know that stress can actually screw with your hormones and fertility, so I don't want to stress myself out and prevent my own chances of pregnancy. It also takes the fun out of the actual conceiving part!

I was just curious what other people do and how they cope with the rollercoaster of trying to conceive. Any suggestions?

Our baby is going to be here in 2 weeks and she still doesn't have a name. My son really wants to name her Emily, but my cousin just named his baby that. My husband wants the middle name to be Ava. This is what I've come up with. My husband isn't sure he likes it yet though
